Firstly, let me say our waitress was phenomenal! We absolutely loved her and our food tasted great! What really left a sour taste in my mouth was how my family and I witnessed a situation being handled by one of the shift managers. Our waitress was caring for a family next to ours and there were some complications with the timeliness of their order along with some of their items being cold. Our waitress, who was only on her second shift by herself, was very apologetic and handled the situation well. At the end of this families visit, the manager approached and said well what's wrong. The customer explained that they had waited almost an hour for their food and when they had got it 2 of the items were cold. She was so unprofessional. The manager said that she trayed the food and "it didn't look cold". Then she saids that she checked the time that the order was placed and that there was no way this family had waited an hour. And THEN she completely threw the newer waitress under the bus saying it was her fault. Never really apologized for the family's wait. The manager then abruptly said I will comp a few items and give you a percentage off but that's all I'm doing and walked away. My family and I could not believe how this was handled. The manager was completely unprofessional and I truly believe it could have been handled a much better way. My family had a great experience, but I believe they lost customers for life due to the unprofessionalism of this shift manager. Read moreWe went to Oscars the other day for lunch. We've been there before and it was pretty good-this time-was different. Our appetizer of fries was good and hot, like I like them. We ordered the wings to split between us. When they arrived one look told me they spent too much time in the fryer. I called the waitress and informed her that the wings were way over done- you bit into one and it crunched!. She took them back and about 10 minutes later she brought out the sorriest looking dozen of wings that were even worse than the first ones. My girlfriend commented -and she usually does not complain-that the waitress never should have brought the second batch out. The waitress even commented that these were no better than the first ones. I told her I couldn't eat them-she said "we take what they give us and the wings are on a timer and have to fry that long. Well at this point they are out 2 dozen wings. I finally ordered the open face roast beef on a slice of Italian bread with gravy. My girlfriend ordered the roast beef with au jus. Read moreI had a really bad experience with this place 3 days ago. I am Muslim and I do not eat pork. When I order, I always ask the meal whether it is pork or not. I have ordered Cordon Blue and asked if it is pork. Waitress said it is not pork. After that my friend wanted to have fork and she were in our table again. I wanted to be sure about my meal, then asked her again if it is pork or not. She was again pretty sure it is not. In the end, she brought my sandwich. I tasted it and it was very salty. It was not look like any meat that I have ever tasted before. So I asked again and then she said that it is ham it is not pork. Everyone knows that ham is pork. She was new and she was ignorant that is why she did make this mistake. According to my religion paying for pork is sin. So I requested her to pay since she had 100% mistake. But she consulted to her manager. A manager probably graduated from high school came and she said that you should pay otherwise I will call police.
