My friends are here on vacation and we came across the very rude worker at the front with glasses. I went to reserve some seats outside so I took a pic of the menu which happened to include the rude worker. My wife looked over the menu and went to order to which the guy said my wife ordered wrong (this is our first time coming here) because I wanted 1 scoop to which it was supposed to be small, medium, or large. My wife went to order for us and the worker loudly announced that the card declined which to my mistake I didn’t specify which card to use. He didn’t even give out the total or anything and didn’t even give direction as to what to do next. He did not seem to be happy with himself and I honestly don’t want to come back here. My friend ordered a root beer float to which he waited about 15 minutes as he watched people after him get their order. After patiently waiting, my friend decided to see about his order and they told him that order already went out. The workers there were rude and did not seem empathetic to the situation at all. No one looked happy to work there. According to my wife, he turned the screen around for the tip, to which my wife declined to give a tip because he was rude throughout the entire interaction. I do not recommend this place to anyone as this experience was not pleasant at all. Side note: we spoke to customers who were there the day before at the table next to us and described having an identical experience with the people working here. Also, I took a pic of the menu without the intention of getting a pic of the worker but I’m glad I did because it has the same rude worker that gave us this horrible experience. We came here because of the great reviews about this place. I didn’t even want to enjoy my ice cream after hearing what my wife and friends...
Read moreMy friend and I stopped by about 15 minutes before closing, excited to finally try Whitties after craving ice cream sandwiches all night. We had high hopes, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst experiences we’ve had.
The moment we walked in, we were greeted (if you can call it that) by a teenage employee who immediately gave us dirty looks. To make matters worse, he and his coworker decided it was appropriate to write nasty comments on the tablet up front, which they both found hilarious. He then turned the tablet around asking for a tip to which my friend and I declined because of the awful interaction we had throughout the whole process. My friend and I stood there feeling incredibly uncomfortable and anxious.
We rushed through our choices because the atmosphere was so unwelcoming. I ended up with a double chocolate cookie and strawberry custard Whittie, while my friend got a Butterfinger Whittie and a pint of pink ribbon chocolate custard. Since the Whitties and pint were already pre-packaged, we weren’t asking much—just a little common courtesy and a basic level of respect.

Read moreWhit’s Frozen Custard is a new family favorite! The custard is fantastic- we get frozen custard pretty often and haven’t found anything this consistently delicious and creamy across all of the flavors. There are so many delicious combinations, and everything is tasty! We have tried scoops of custard with toppings, whitsers, whitties, sundaes, a banana split and a root beer float- all of which were amazing! The root beer float uses great quality soda and the frozen custard just takes it over the top, this is hands down the best float I have had! As far as toppings go, I have enjoyed all of them, but the brownie bites are more like a chocolate version of cookie dough bites, and I personally prefer more chewy style brownie bites, but this is just my preference! The workers have all been kind, the atmosphere is quaint and inviting, and the frozen custard is absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend Whit’s Frozen Custard of Myrtle Beach to anyone and will be bringing my family and...
