Today, on my lunch break, I decided to head to this location for a power bowl (breakfast) and a kale tonic. As I’m on my way, I decided to call so that I could place my order, hoping it would be ready by the time I got there. When I called, a lady answered who was apparently working the counter. She blandly stated “You’ll need to place your order online” when I told her I wanted to call in an order for pick up. Although I was already on my way, I’ll pulled up the app and attempted to place my order. When I clicked “Place Order,” I received an error message telling me to call the store to place my order. I then tried ordering online again and I received the same message. So, I called the store yet again. As soon as she answered she asked if she could place me on hold. I said that’s fine. I was still headed to the restaurant and I was on hold for what seemed like a while, so I hung up and called back. She answered the phone again, and I explained to her that I had called a couple of times already and was told to order online, which I had attempted to do twice. I then also told her that I was on hold for a while before calling back. The tone of her voice was quite rude and she sounded extremely bothered. Sounding exasperated, she asked “what do you want to order?” I told her my order. And then she asked what my name was and proceeded to say it’ll be 15 to 20 minutes. Shortly after, maybe four minutes or so, I pulled up to the restaurant and decided to go in just in case my order hadn’t been placed. Based on her attitude, I had a feeling she hadn’t put the order in. Approaching the counter, I let her know that I was the person who called the order in. I think her name was Tonya based on what I heard someone call her. She then proceeds to ask me how I wanted my eggs.... I said just as they are in the picture. She then rings me up and asks for payment. I said “Was my order not already placed?” She said “It is now.” I asked, “didn’t you just tell me it would take 15-20 minutes for me to order?” She said yes. I told her to just go ahead and cancel it because I don’t have time. I worked in customer service for 10 years, and I abhor poor service. I also give people the benefit of the doubt on the first offense... but in this instance, there were multiple. If a person cannot be friendly, then they do not need to work the counter. Simple as that. I ended up ordering from the NRH location instead. They actually had a wait, but were still extremely friendly. Glade had no...
Read moreMy family and I went into First Watch today for the first time at some friend’s recommendation. While waiting for our table I noticed a small sign hanging by the cash register saying they only gave out straws upon request. I was beyond happy to see that and immediately took a picture of the sign and shared it on Instagram. Once we sat down my husband asked for a coffee and asked for almond or soy milk to go with it. She told him there should be silk creamers on our table and after explaining that he didn’t want creamer just the regular soy milk she said again, obviously annoyed, “we only have the creamer on your table”. I then asked, “you don’t have any plant milks?” I was confused because I thought I had seen a post on social media about First Watch diversifying their milk options. Exasperated she said, “no we only have creamer.” I said, “ok, I just wanted to double check because we have a diary allergy. I have to carry an epipen for my son and probably would have never come if I knew they didn’t have alternatives. My kids then ordered lemonades and when our waitress brought them she put down two straws(which we didn’t ask for). My husband and I decided at this point to leave-the options were extremely limited for us and our waitress was clearly beyond annoyed with us. When we got up to leave I went to the register and asked about the sign saying they didn’t hand out straws. I said that our waitress gave them to us without asking and didn’t understand if they had a policy against that why that would happen. He scoffed at me and gave me a non answer. Then told me I could see the manager if I wanted. But honestly after two very unpleasant experiences with different employees I just needed to leave. BEYOND disappointed with our experience here. Would not recommend to anyone who needs ANY special...
Read moreVery Disappointed!!!
I eat breakfast out with my 2 year old granddaughter every week day morning. To start off, Fresh Watch was by far the most expensive breakfast that I have ever paid for. Food is not even all that great!! Didn't like the way the eggs were cooked. Granddaughter took one bite of kids chocolate Chip pancakes and started saying she didn't like it. Same goes for the bacon that I ordered crisp/not dark. It was greasy, floppy and tough! My granddaughter may only be two, but she can definitely put the food away!! Breakfast especially! Bacon is her favorite food and she would keep eating it as long as you would let her. Not the case at First Watch. She ate one bite of each and refused to eat more. Was crying because she wanted bacon that was good. That was a waste of $6.27 for the kids meal!! The waitress was nice, but she had promised a discount when we paid. No discount was given. Meal was 20.74 before tip! One adult and one 2 year old. Wouldn't have been so bad if we had enjoyed any part of it! Climate was too cold as well. We had to be moved to another table because we were freezing. 2nd table was also cold. Had to cover my shaking granddaughter in napkins to keep her from being so cold. To top off this lovely experience, a man and woman sat at the next both to us. Two seconds after they sat down they began to argue. The man was very outspoken and not quite I may add. He was cursing and telling this woman to shut up so that he could continue with his belittling and horrible remarks to her. I could not listen to any more and I could not let my 2 year have to be exposed to it as well. The woman got up and left the building. Overall, this was a very bad experience that will not be...
