I really enjoy this chain because they have Gluten Free bread but also, the ingredients are really fresh! I've tried other Jersey Mike's in the northeast suburbs and to be honest, their meats, cheese, breads, etc. do not taste as good. I went to one in Milwaukee, WI and they were actually serving spent lettuce (wilted, brown) so it just all depends. With this Illinois Willow Rd. location, the owners take great pride in their store and treat the customers very well no long waits, always super fresh ingredients (turkey, tuna, etc.), and the people stack everything high. The tables and chairs are cleaned thoroughly and they take pride in having a first class place for people to come in. I have been very happy with this group because they are very nice to customers. They're also trained well for gluten-free customers, and clean the work areas very consciously. But if you are tired of places that serve old ingredients, don't keep their places clean, are not kind to their customers this place isn't it. It's the best place in the northern IL suburbs. Don't waste your time going any place else. I go here literally 2-3 times per month. Note: as of 6/11/2024, this comment has received 1,000 Likes! Every time I go over there, they have a nice steady stream of customers. Even the local police go there. The latest demand? They are telling me 'cheese steaks'. They also have daily specials that will save you $$. Try tuna fish...
Read moreAfter not having had Jersey Mike's for around four years, because I did not think it was good the last time, I can without a doubt say nothing has changed. First off, it hit me hard--I got diarrhea about fifteen minutes after eating it. I got the chicken bacon and ranch warm sandwich. It is just low quality, from the bread to, especially, the chicken. Although the chicken is technically diced or sliced, I guess, the taste is much closer to a ground from the grocery store. The whole sandwich was bland. Service--pretty checked out, and one of the supervisors was very short with an employee, so then he was not friendly. The Pepsi lines are also not right--the Pepsi was definitely not tasting like Pepsi. I used to work for Pepsi and I love Pepsi--this is not good Pepsi. $14.77 for a medium size sandwich, bag of chips and large Pepsi, including tax and I tipped $1.23, as they put it right in your face when you put your card in. I would pass and go to Potbelly--far better value and quality and service. Heck, Subway is way better than this place for less cost. Really disappointing--I really regretted not going to Culver's or Potbelly, but now I will cross this chain off my list forever. I did give two stars for fast (but not...
Read moreShowed up 30 minutes before closing. It wasn't busy. Ordered a large tuna and a veggie with double tomato. Server even confirmed I meant double tomato and not no tomato. Got home to discover the veggie sandwich didn't have any tomato, onion, green peppers, pickles, or pepperoncini. It was a $20 cheese and lettuce sandwich.
Willow location was already closed by a few minutes by the time we got home, so we had to share the tuna and hadn't ordered sides. While all the fixings were on the tuna, that sandwich didn't have any tuna on a quarter of the sandwich.
The quality of the ingredients (that we actually got) was the same as any other location.
Now we have to drive back and get half the order remade. That's wasted gas, time, and food. We all make mistakes, but two sandwiches, no sides, and not lunch rush? Seems like this one was pretty avoidable. Won't return to the Willow Creek location after I get...
