Taco Bell — Restaurant in Northfield

This particular Taco Bell stands out as a top choice for fast food options in Northfield (in my personal opinion). offering a variety of new menu items and a range of options to satisfy your cravings. The friendly cashiers and efficient food line staff make the drive thru experience enjoyable, with a touch of humor and warmth, particularly during the morning rush. I normally do order online and think that's easier and faster. I love the Tacobell app. It does have its issues. But that doesn't reflect on this Tacobell branch in Northfield! The person with the star tattoo behind his ear was extremely friendly and top notch, same with the other guy who's arms are full of tattoos. Great customer service by them both! They both work morning shifts and my husband and I get a kick out of seeing them and getting friendly greeting from them! NEW EDIT from tonight 06/05/24, I did what to add to my original post, the wonderful blonde hair women working tonight was really try her best to make everyone happy during a HUGE dinner rush. She was extremely stressed out but trying so hard to bring the best customer service to everyone. I did wait for my food for almost an hour. Personally no big deal but I could tell it was annoying lots of other people how far behind the Tacobell orders were. I have a feeling Tbell is about to get flooded with cranky emails about tonight. But anyway, this particular women went above and beyond tonight to get everyone's order and to try her best to be fast and efficient. She normally doesn't work the food line. But she was doing the food line tonight and running the orders out to multiple different people who were also waiting for awhile. I could also hear her apologizing to the customers, along with just asking other people what there orders were and double checking so she wouldn't get the orders mixed up or confusing other orders with people. Talk about great customer service, great multitasking, and going above and beyond for the customers. I was in no particular rush tonight so I personally didn't mind waiting almost an hour for my food. When I actually got a chance to eat the food it was amazing. The meat was hot and delicious. The shell was actually fresh today. I really just wanted to add that important detail today about tonight's hectic drive thru fiasco. She handled the entire overwhelming scenario perfectly, gracefully, and with a smile. She didn't talk rudely about the company or the customers she dealt with prior to me. She greeted me with my food by my name. It felt great to get recognized by the manager just by my food order! Of course I'll be coming back again soon! I have recently gone to Northfield Taco Bell 3 times and each time I have been disappointed. I always order what used to just be a “cantina chicken crispy taco” (the chicken taco with the cheese melted on the outside) the first time I went through I realized the taco was wrong and went back through to see if I could get the mistake fixed. I got told that the name for the one I would like has changed and that they are sorry, that’s it. The second time I made sure to say the chicken cantina with the cheese melted on the outside as I wasn’t confident saying Caliente and then received the same thing I had the other time. A plain chicken cantina taco. Didn’t put up a fuss just decided to eat it. This third time today I made sure to specify that id like the Caliente cantina chicken crispy taco, was confident that id receive what i ordered. Drive thru attendant’s are high school children, zero common decency, short and rude. I ordered and a kid actually sighed. I asked if he was okay, he said “ya I’m okay”.

I got to the window, a teen girl was standing to the side, she was trying to grab something the same kid who sighed said “yeah well if you could bother me later that we be great 🤗” . They were cussing up a storm, and sounded like they were throwing things around.

I’ll definitely come back for a laugh because the crew here lacks the ability to hold minimal professionalism even for a fast food restaurant hahahaha. Don’t come here if you’re in a bad mood, short tempered or lack the ability to laugh off childish behavior you’ll be exceptionally disappointed.
