chills, actual chills. The first time I had Hangry Joes it changed my life. Whether it was the juiciness of the chicken or the crunch that the breading of the chicken made. It was cooked to perfection and seasoned masterfully. The sauce perfectly complements everything on the plate and my only qualm is that I could not have more sauce. The first day I had Hangry Joes, I went home that night and had a dream where I was eating Hangry Joes. And ever since then I never went to another chicken spot. At exactly 10:51 AM when class ends I call Hangry Joes and order a mild chicken tender combo for dining in. I meet the kindest server in the world working as the cashier who now recognizes my face and I grab my drink and pour myself a Starry with ice. It never gets old. I stare at my steamy hot order as it’s placed on my tray. I’ve been eating this meal for multiple days a week for over a meal now and every single time it feels like my experience only gets better. As the tears stream down my face it provides a chicken a salty taste and I cannot help as my hands gather in prayer for the person who created such a scrumptious bite chicken.

Hangry Joes fixed my depression, made me grow to 6’3”, sharpened my jawline, increased my IQ, got me a beautiful girlfriend, won me the lottery, got me a lamborghini, and even gave me a private jet. Hangry Joes has helped me during the darkest time of my life and my love for it cannot be expressed with any words. I now aspire to own a Hangry Joes chain one day in hopes of eating their food every single day. I have introduced Hangry Joes to all of my friends and family and I find immense joy every time I show a new person and they respond to me that they enjoyed it (they better).

Love this place. Before they opened I was waiting for months watching youtube videos of other locations reviews to get an idea of the chicken sandwich quality. Now that I've been here numerous times, I can say it's easily the best chicken sandwich around. This includes chick-fil-a, popeyes, and any other competitors. While it is different than those smaller trendy sandwiches in that it can be very spicy depending on heat selection, the sandwich is so much larger and loaded with spices and flavor. I order the hot (not the hottest) and it is borderline too spicy, but delicious and fresh. First timers should try mild before hot - it's surprisingly hot. The chicken is juicy, very crunchy, and loaded with flavor on a brioche bun. While I do find the prices to be a bit high ($17 for a chicken sandwich meal), and this forces me to find the best value on the menu - the #1 combo. My location does not allow the Sando Jr to be a combo, so that means buying the drink and fries separately, which costs significantly more and outweighs the savings on the jr sandwich. The loaded fries are also great, but buying that with a drink feels pricey at $17. At lunch time, I need to place this order (chicken sandwich meal) 20 minutes prior to pick-up or risk standing around in the store for a long time. Also, they could give more Hangry sauce with the order (only filling cups 1/3 the way is not enough - delicious btw). Also, where is the app and/or rewards program for those of us who come rather often and would appreciate some rewards? guys i was almost debating on whether or not to review this JUST to gatekeep this restaurant. The quality of the food and the amount of food is insane. We had gotten this delivered and I live abt 20-25 mins away from the restaurant and when we got the food it was literally steaming so you know this was FRESH. They also had okra which is why i ordered in the first place because i have not found a restaurant that has okra and it was phenomenal. amazing amazing amazing food. The chicken sandwich was on point. the waffle fries were okay it wasn’t seasoned but the sauce they gave was perfect for them. the tenders are HUGE and the chicken is very juicy and fresh and just very very delicious. the chicken is very tender, and it is seasoned very well, and the hangry sauce is a perfect complement to the chicken. the mac and cheese was good, it had some sort of season on it (maybe cajun or something) and it was made with nacho cheese which is very different but it works. the pasta was cooked almost perfectly and they gave us 2 orders when we only ordered 1. you can tell the employees and owner of the place really care about customers satisfaction, even though we ordered through uber eats. i would love to one day sit in the restaurant and eat there to catch the entire vibe of this place. based off the food alone i get a very southern nashville vibe. god bless...
