Sadly, this experience was not good from the moment we stepped onto the snow covered, unshoveled sidewalks.  But onto the food and lack of service. Our beverages were never refilled.  See 1 of 2 empty glasses in photo.  Grated cheese was never brought to top our entrees that the waitress said she would bring.   Ordered their "new item",  Filet and Shrimp Pasta Toscana, with angel hair pasta instead of fettuccine. This entree included a cream sauce, spinach and mushrooms.  The shrimp was over grilled and hard, but the filet was done perfectly, medium rare.   However, the filet did require trimming of fat and gristle on two pieces.  But for $25.99 the mushrooms should have been fresh, not the rubbery, canned kind.  See photo. When we finally received the bill, we let the waitress know of the lack of  beverage refills and no grated parmesan cheese.   She apologized, took our bill and card, then, once again, she started waiting on other tables, leaving us to wait for the return of our charge card and receipt.  Once she finally returned, she brought a beverage "to go" cup.  Nice idea, however,  we really wanted something to drink with our meal. Bottom line, we understand servers can be overworked, but the combination of errors from our server, management, and kitchen, make us very leery to return to this particular Carrabba's anytime soon.

Visited for lunch on a Wednesday around 11:30am. I think we were the first diners there, since they open at 11am. We were acknowledged and sat immediately. Service was attentive. My wife had the fetucini carrabba. It was ok. I had the veal chop. It was huge and fantastic! But you will pay for it at over $40. I still think it was a great meal if you enjoy veal. Both came with soup or salad options. We both got salads. There is no creamy blue cheese dressing, so i settled for ranch 🙁. The breadbasket was fresh warm and tasty. A couple of suggestions to the staff. 1) the manager/team lead that day was having work related discussions with staff (some disagreements). She was very loud. We really did not want to hear this discussion. 2) someone needs to go outside by the front door and pick up all the litter in the landscaping. Receipts and such were blowing around. Other than that, our visit was enjoyable.

Not impressed. This was my first experience with Carrabba's. Three of us went for lunch. There was a 15-minute wait before we were seated. There were a lot of empty tables, so it could have been a staffing issue. Once seated, we ordered drinks. The server forgot some of the drinks, which they brought to us later. We placed our order, just three entrées, and it took an hour to get them. There were still lots of empty tables, so I'm not sure what took so long. There were little flies (fruit flies, maybe) around our table. The food was tasty, but the portions were extremely small. In total, it was $86 for three of us, and if we were paying for the experience, it was not worth it. Next time I'll go to Olive Garden.

First of all I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to ALL of the team members who work At the Novi Carrabas , for taking excellent care of our family of 7 when we were dining there today!!!!!

Members of the TEAM were ALL courteous, patient, efficient, and EXTREMELY hard-working!!! (From the welcoming young ladies who greeted us at the entrance, to the fantastic wait staff for the food, drinks, and desserts all the way to the wonderfully hard working gentleman who patiently and efficiently cleared the table as we were leaving!!!)

Thank you to Team members like Nina, Noah, TJ, Alah, Morgan, the nice young lady whose name means forgiveness AND ALL of the team members (Please, please forgive me in the fact that unfortunately, my TERRIBLE memory does not remember ALL of the these fantastic team members’ names right at this moment
I am so very sorry that I did not write all their names down!!!! They ALL deserve kudos!!! Please know that they ALL worked together in cooperation to help each other take excellent care of us (AND the rest of the customers dining there too!!!!! WOW!!!)

The food was VERY good AND plentiful !!!

This restaurant had lots of great choices AND even actually had vegan options that were nicely labeled for the vegan in our group! That too, was a very big help and nice surprise!

We hope to return very soon.! I promise I will try to remember to write the names of ALL the team members down next time!!!!!

Gratefully and sincerely, Garie Thomas-Bass (Author of the books:

TLDR: Food never showed up. Had a terrible experience trying to get delivery from this Carrabba's location recently. Ordered via Carrabba's website and chose the delivery option and was assigned an estimated delivery time about 45 minutes after order was received. The delivery never showed. Waiting 30 more minutes I finally called the restaurant (since nobody was contacting me) where 2 different people took my info and put me on hold to finally tell me the food was ready and they were waiting for the Grub Hub driver to pick it up. I asked when, or if, I'd be receiving the dinner and was told if I'd ordered directly through Grub Hub I'd have that visibility, but they couldn't say. It seemed to be implied that I'd chosen poorly and should have known better than to trust their own system. I was also told they disliked this setup and complained to corporate but nothing was changing. They offered to refund my order and maybe the food would show up, or I could alternatively pick it up myself. Given travel times, this would put dinner on the table an hour and 15 minutes after it had been made, and an hour and 45 minutes after it was ordered so I declined. All in all, this was a customer service nightmare. I haven't been in to the actual restaurant in a long time and this experience has encouraged me to take even that...
