Eden Plaza Cafe — Restaurant in Oakland

It's easy to overlook this little corner deli, but we got a quick & delicious Chef's Salad from them with hella toppings, as well as a satisfying fruit bowl. We'd also grabbed a premade spaghetti container, but were not impressed with the lack of meat and one-dimensional flavor that reminded me of alphabet soup as a kid.

The owners are kind and helpful, we loved 2 of the 3 quick to-go options we'd gotten, and all of our food came in sizable portions. This is a great place to get a quick lunch if you're in a hurry or don't want to wait a long time. They have sandwiches and burritos to order, and pre-made small and large salads and the refrigerated section as well as some pasta. If prefer to customize your salad they will make it from scratch. And just as you're checking out there's a collection of delicious sweets for your 3 pick me up with your coffee that are just perfect as well.
