I was staying in Oakland for a few days in July 2019. We have lots of donut places here in Toronto, Canada (e.g. Tim Hortons, Country Style Donuts, etc.). But I have to say that Hometown Donuts has the BEST donuts ever! Timing is everything because, when I went later the next day, all the good donuts were gone🙁 Their apple fritter...

Edit: 3 weeks later, same deal. The exact same drink I purchased 2 days ago was up charged by $1.50. watch em, don't let yourself get charged extra!

Heads up, they'll gouge you on prices if you don't watch the screen. Bought a bag of chips, rung up as 2.99 Generic Item. Bought the same bag of chips again, two days later, 4.99...
