My friends and I are were stopping in to grab dinner before going on a long road trip back home. It was me, her, her husband and our kids. We had a double jogging stroller and a single stroller. When we came in I asked the waiter if they had room for our strollers and he said yes. Then he tries to sit us in a booth where the strollers would have to be out in the aisle for everyone to trip on. I asked if it was alright if we sat in the back so that we wouldn't be in anyone's way. He said yes and we sat down. No one came to us after us being there for quite some time. I waved a server and asked if we go to the front to order and then we were assigned a waitress that could barely understand us and clearly was new to being a server. There was a language barrier as well. Even so my friends and I still ordered. When the waitress brings out our drinks she spills them everywhere. Then I asked for water with a lemon and she tried to deny us tap water and make us pay two dollars for each bottled water. Then she doesn't even clean up the spilled drinks, I had to ask her because it kept getting it in my shoes. When she brings out the pizza she knocks over drinks again as she's setting it on the table. Not to mention the pizza and fries are not hot. So when we're ready to pay she comes back and says my card is declined. I'm shocked cause I know I have sufficient funds. So she says let me try again because sometimes our machine declines MasterCard. I recommended that he have a sign up and said I didn't want to have to spend my cash. Well he started insulting me and shouting at me as well. I ended up having to leave my friends while I went to find an ATM and pay three dollars to take money out. I will never go back to this place again. I don't even understand how they get away with treating customers so rudely and with...
Read moreFirst off, what an absolute time I had here at Angelo’s. Not only was my bacon cheeseburger (with onions) absolutely expemplary, but my small caesar salad was nothing short of superb. The waitress was very nice and service was exceptionally quick! I am eager to come back and try more menu items. It was such a hard choice to decide what to get! My dining acquaintance at the time spoke in similar terms: “Yeah! It was swell although a tad expensive. I legally said that if anyone asks.”
Update: I searched for this place to return for another superb lunch after exactly one year. Turns out it is placed flat under a mini golf course. I had no memory of this whatsoever, and even questioned whether this was the same place. Me and my dining acquaintance ordered the exact same thing except I did not order a caesar salad. The burger was equally as divine, and the service was punctual. The salt shaker might have been sealed with Flex Glue because it did not budge. Not even one crystal fell out. So, I grabbed one from the table behind me and it was merely a fraction looser. I intellectually solved this qualm by placing a finger on the hind end of the shaker, and then rapidly jostling it until normal salt amounts precipitated. Other than that, I was equally satisfied with this lunch as I was last time except for ONE THING. There is no other way to describe the tap water other than suspicious… I didn’t like the taste; not one bit. My dining mate added cerebrally: “That thing (burger) was covered in lettuce, I must say. Not that that’s a bad thing. That should wrap up my experience here. Sum up instead...
Read moreI highly recommend Angelo’s Pizza for a good, homestyle Italian meal. I first went there for a slice of pizza for lunch, where the friendly waitress persuaded me to come back for their expansive dinner menu. I’m glad I came back, as I had a delicious chicken parm dinner, which also included a salad. The owner, Angelo, came out and engaged in great conversation. He was so nice that he even gave our table a salami and cheese platter on the house. All the food tasted great, the staff was very homely, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The only issue is that you have to pay a lot extra for all this. As much as I loved the food and ambiance, $30 for that chicken parm is ridiculous. Other than the high prices, I had a very good experience at Angelo’s and I give it my...
