The Muze Cafe — Restaurant in Ocean City

First off this place shouldn't receive any stars. They reason I put one, it wouldn't let me post a comment if I didn't. I do not recommend this place at all. Matter of fact they should shut this place down or fire the waitress that works there. We sat at one of their tables outside less than 2 minutes to eat some fries that we had just bought at a different food place before the waitress came running with the menu in her hand telling us if we sat at their tables we had to order something of their menu or leave. I must mention that we are people of a race other than white. So we left and sat across from the Muse Cafe on a bench just to take a little break. While sitting there we see a white couple picking the exact table we have just few minutes before. The couple had brought their own food and started to unpack and eat. About 20/25 minutes had passed and the waitress didn't even made a slight attempt to come outside to the couple. After 25 minutes I decided to go inside the Muze Cafe to confront the waitress. She then gave me the lame excuse that she didn't notice the couple eating at one of their tables. I told her she noticed us after less than 2 minutes but the white couple she didn't !!! We will never return to that spot again, obviously people of color have...

🌟 If I could give Muzè Café a million stars, I absolutely would! 🌟

My husband and I stopped in this weekend (yes, during the Blue Angels madness!) with open minds and empty stomachs—and wow, did they deliver! The food was phenomenal, the vibes were cozy, and our waitress was an absolute gem—kind, attentive, and quick with a smile.

My husband ordered the banana pudding pancakes and declared them the best pancakes he’s ever had. (He did mention a sprinkle of cinnamon on top would’ve taken them straight to pancake heaven—just a personal preference!) I ordered the peach tea and parfait—absolutely delicious and refreshing! I’m on a “fat shot” (Zepbound) so I couldn’t eat much, but I enjoyed every bite I could have. Our sweet waitress even checked to make sure everything was okay because I barely made a dent—bless her heart!

Despite it being a busy weekend, the service was fast, the food came out hot, and everything was right on point. We’re locals and always love discovering new gems—this one is officially our new go-to brunch spot!

Edit: Went again, this time we hit the jackpot. It was much less crowded, and got our food much faster.

This time we got the strawberry delight crepe, the muze omelette, and a bacon egg & cheese bagel. First of all, the crepe was amazing. Second of all, the muze omelette blew my mind.

Forget ordering waffles and pancakes, if you don't get at least one crepe you're making a mistake.

Original: Great batter flavor, friendly service, and the bacon/sausage was really good.

However a couple of unfortunate things led to 3 instead of 5 stars (though we plan on revisiting to try and correct this):

They were absolutely overwhelmed with customers which led to waiting for at least 20 minutes

We got our food to go, the food being boxed for just 5 minutes, which led to being colder and kind of soggy/gummy from moisture being trapped

They forgot whip cream on the waffle, and put powder sugar on the pancake when we had...
