Smoothie King — Restaurant in Ocean Springs

The only things I wish were different here is the drive thru menu is unusually low to the ground. You have to look at it from an odd angle to see the whole thing. Like opening your door, poking your head out of thr window or parking further away from it which may cause issues with hearing the person thru the speaker. The other thing is the price is a bit steep for some people. Don't get me wrong its well worth it but for people without alot of money it's more of one of those occasional treats you have to give yourself. I used to get coupons thru the mail for it all the time but I haven't seen one in years. Even the rewards program doesn't give much but I guess at least it's something... but as far as the service, atmosphere and things you order.... I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Never had been to any kind of Smoothie place, but had like smoothie type of thing at Starbucks and was NOT impressed AT ALL. Today I found out what it's all about - and WHAT GREAT TASTE! I got the Watermelon X-Treme and truly was expecting some sugary juice but this was smoothie frozen-ness without some big amount of sugar, though it tasted sweet (but not overly). I'm sensitive to sugar so can only handle small amounts, (haven't eaten a slice of cake in over a decade) but this DID NOT put me to sleep as like a couple drinks of a milkshake does. This drink was delicious from start to finish and I'm mad that while they seem everywhere here where I'm vacationing for a day, there's nothing like this in Buffalo/Niagara Falls NY!!! I decided to treat myself to a smoothie - I haven't had one since before the Pandemic. I normally drink the strawberry banana smoothie.

This was my first time at the new location, so I was struggling trying to find it on the menu. I ended up deviating from my normal and ordered the banana boat. The gentleman that took my order was a little impatient during my search and then question about my order. I have an egg allergy, and I wanted to make sure it didn't have eggs/protein in it.

Shortly afterwards, a female came on the microphone asking for my order. Although he was short with me, the females who handed my order to me was really pleasant.

I'll be back, and I'll make sure I am ready...
