I used to frequent Beach city smoothies in Carlsbad Village all through my teens with friends on our walks to the beach, I remember it being a great experience and loving their smoothies and pretzels. Today, my husband and I stumbled upon their new location in Oceanside by the pier on coast highway and the staff member who helped us was super friendly and helpful. We came here originally thinking it was Aloha our usual spot, my husband loves their peanut butter smoothie base, but we still left beach city smoothies satisfied with a Rio bowl and a PB&J smoothie, it was a great opportunity to reminisce...

I stopped by the original location in Carlsbad last time I was passing through town. Not only were the Acai bowls AMAZING but the location couldn't be better. The massive parking lot directly beside the shop made it quick and easy to get in and out but who wants to be quick in a place with such a great atmosphere?! As a parent and community volunteer myself it was immediately apparent that the family owners/operators take great pride in contributing to their community and the local youth. I'll definitely be back anytime I'm down from LA and can't wait to check out the brand new...
