Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Ogden

The blonde haired girl working drive thru tonight seemed high AF. My order came to $22 something, I gave her $40 (two $20s), and instead of immediately giving me my change she turned her back to us, was looking around confused, then she looked in a bag that was sitting, then looked and kind of moved a couple of drinks that were sitting there, then she looked around confused some more, then she kind of moved the bag around some more, then another gal came by and sat another bag and drinks down, then the girl started to look in both bags and started to slightly move all the drinks around. She did several times then she opened the window and handed us our bag and drinks that were sitting there the whole time, the original bag and drinks that she was fondling while we waited for 15 minutes.... she didn't give me my change, I told her I needed my change back, she looked really confused. The way she was acting one would assume that she had never encountered currency before. After looking at the register for a second and then looking around the prep area she asked for my receipt so she could give me correct change. She looked at my receipt, got her phone out, I think to use the calculator but who really knows because she gave me back the amount that I owed for my food. She wouldn't give me my receipt back... My receipt said I was supposed to get $17 something back. I get up at 5:30 every single morning to get to work and today I had to work until 9. Dealing with type of BS so late with my kid in tow, while not the the worst experience in my life, it was irritating and a waste of time. Went to freddy's recently because previously liked the environment and food. Went Cashier was friendly ordered our food and a bottle of fry sauce. While waiting for food 3 separate customers went back because something was wrong with their food. Our table only table available...had brown water dripping and splashing on the seat and the table. When they called our order they called two separate numbers. Got the burgers and fries we ordered and did not see the bottle. When I went up to ask politely if we could get our fry sauce bottle we purchased the girl interrupted and stated I could get it at the condiments station. I tried to point out that I purchased the 4$ bottle and she walked away she then came back and said what. I showed her and she walked off mumbling and with attitude and came back with bottle. I asked about our shakes as they were also missing. She pointed to the station by the register. After about 5-10 min still no shake. The girl who appeared to be making them looked un happy as well as distant she was staring at the wall. Frustrated the friendly girl at the register took over and got the shakes done quickly. The food wasn't bad. However, after the treatment and attitude from the employees other then the cashier and the environment dripping which I alerted to an employee just so they were aware they didnt bother to look but just stated that the building has issues and should be redone (Which is odd because freddys isnt an old building.) This place looks darling but don’t let it fool you, our experience is was terrible. The food was disgusting, cold fries and kids meal portions for $30! The actual kids’ meals are probably enough to feed an ant. Sadly they messed up our order, they didn’t put the sauce in our bag, we definitely won’t be going back. If you must go, just stick with the custard and avoid most of the food. The onion rings were fresh and crispy, luckily. There was a weird piece of paper or plastic in my wife’s shake… gross☹️

Before you tell us to go contact the local franchise at https://ffcsb.us/nr, know that we already did! Doesn’t change the fact that we had a terrible meal.

I doubt the local franchise even cares… all of the workers in this empty establishment looked super depressed. They probably just need to treat them better, I worked in places like this as a teenager. The management must be toxic, and they probably don’t want to be there either.

These places are a dime a dozen, if McDonald’s would just build more locations places like this wouldn’t even exist. Yeah, thank goodness for the quality control at McDonald’s and Wendy’s. I bet the people that reply to these reviews won’t even read the entire thing. If you did, say something in your reply about reading the whole thing.
