I love Jersey Mike's, so much so on average I ate there at least four times a month. I went there yesterday August 10th 2022 at about 4:30. When I went in the order there was one person eating, three orders ready for pickup and nobody waiting to order. The younger girl who appears to be the Crew lead is rude, she seems almost irritated that when I came in I actually wanted to order something to eat like I was a burden. She'll ask you what you want and as you were trying to tell her she will talk over you, I was trying to order three different sandwiches and it seemed like she got more irritated with each sandwich even going as far to say after my third one is there any more in a very rude tone of voice. What is sad we have ate at the 12th Street location for about a year now, a couple of months ago there was a young fellow with longer hair that was what I assumed to be the crew lead that made you feel welcome didn't make you feel rushed and for his age was extremely mature in the way that he handled himself and always had a smile on his face. In the time that he's been gone the same young lady has been the one that I have dealt with every time for at least the last month to month and a half. Each time she has been this way but it seems to be getting worse and really stood out yesterday because there was only one customer eating and the employees were basically standing there and talking. I hope you guys can address this issue because I really like the food but not enough to drive to another location. Normally only reviews I leave are positive reviews for somebody that exceeds my expectations and have only ever left two negative reviews, one of them corrected the problem so I corrected my review and the reason why. So if you want my business I ask instead of telling meTo send this reviewTo your GmailIn your replyGive me the name of the managerOr personThat I need to speak toAnd I will call them. Thanks for...
Read moreBeen here a few times the past year and normally it’s been fine, nothing great about but it’s a decent sub shop. However the last time I went I was reading the menu trying to figure out what I wanted. When a blonde woman shouts “we can help you over, in a condescending manner. I asked how the rosemary parm bread was and she replied”it’s bread” already super snarky start. After I asked if we could do a half and half giant sub of two cold sandwiches she replied “why would think we could do that.” That fine, a “no” would have sufficed. While we were checking out the cashier was super nice and the sandwich maker interrupts and throws her arms in the air and shouts “hey do you want this sandwich microwaved or not” it’s a cold sub so I said no that’s fine. Lastly, while my wife was getting her drink the sandwich was finished, and this long haired male just pushes the sandwich across the counter without even looking at me and leaves. I didn’t even know if it was my order and when I asked if it was mine the man wouldn’t even answer so I just assumed it was mine and took it. I got a little snarky at this point and told them “use you words next time”I understand this quick service but I have never met a more unprofessional crew. Only nice one was the cashier with black hair and piercings. Shame how bad the service is here. I won’t ever...
Read moreI absolutely love Jersey Mike's. Not only are the sandwiches well made but as a guy from back east living in Utah the #13 gives me a strong taste of back home whenever I need it. It's as close as you'll get to any of the mom and pop sandwich shops you have back on the coast. The prices are a little high but a sandwich here is packing a lot more than a comparable sandwich of either Subway or fire house and has more flavor to it than you get at a Jimmy John's.
I have only one criticism of the place, as a guy who used to run one of the aforementioned shops back east. When making a sandwich Mike's way, the juice shouldn't be added to the surface of the tomatoes, but rather the lettuce. When applied to the tomatoes a lot of it slides right off and if you have to take the sandwich out somewhere else it ends up soggy by the time you get there. If applied to the lettuce though, you hold onto the flavor and the bag life of the sandwich is extended considerably.
But this is kind of a minor thing that I think only me and one other person I know have observed. If we take it out, we tend to pass on the juice and just get it...
