Ralphie's Sports Eatery — Restaurant in Ohio

My husband and I came in about a week ago. The service was so horrible, we got seated and it took probably about 10-15 minutes for anyone to even get our drinks. Then we were rushed into ordering. I order fried pickles as my appetizer, we also ordered our meal at the same time and asked for our pickles out first. I ordered a burger and she asked how I wanted that cooked. I specified I wanted it well done, absolutely no pink in the middle. It took over 45 minutes for our food to come out and there was literally 3 tables with customers us included. When our food came out everything looked great, although the pickles came out the same time as our food even though I ordered them as an app and asked for them to come out before the food, the server was in such a rushed she said, all in the same breath as sentence, “everything look ok, need anything else, no? Ok” and walked away. I couldn’t believe she did that. I brushed it off because we were very hungry. I bit into my burger and completely raw. At this point my husband and I were so irritated instead of causing a scene, we just got up and left. I have never had such horrible services in my life. Honest review. Came here during a playoff game on a Monday. Door said they were open till midnight. Unfortunately they said they were closing early at 10pm after I was locked out when I ran to my car and my boyfriend bought a beer @ 9:50. He ordered the garbage chunks with Rajun Cajun sauce. The sauce was so salty, he could not eat it. They took it off the bill which we did not ask for. But something I did not complain about was the hair in my onion straws cooked into them. So we cash out with a half beer and full beer. The manager shut off the sound to the TV's and then the TV's right after when we were trying to watch the game as well as other patrons. He quickly disappeared to the back as well as the bartender. If you don't want to stay open, ok. Let the customers know that before they order another beer or even to come there to watch a playoff game. Guess it's not a sports bar really 🤷 I've been in the industry for 20+ years and never had a manager shut off TV to customers...

On Oct 1, 2024 - I was looking for a nice bar with great down to earth food. The chain restaurants are so boring and predictable. I travel a lot! I had just finished a project and after a 10 hour day of driving. I wanted to sit down with a beer, check emails on the laptop, and then have a nice dinner. The wait staff was great. They got me seated quickly at a table that I got to choose. She showed me the beer list and let me sample some local beers I had never encountered before, and very soon, I had a nice cold, tall beer at my table. She checked on me often but didn't push me to get the table to turn. I ordered a burger and fries that was cooked to a perfect medium, and the fries were fresh. It felt like a bar that knows your name. The next night, my crew 4, that was a day behind me, stopped and also had a great great meal with stupendous service.
