I had a very early dinner here today between 3-3:30pm. First, the food was very delicious and prepared well. I really enjoyed the food. The service was another issue. It’s a shame that we live in a society today where the customer is treated as though the customer needs the business establishment vs the business establishment needing the customer. I sat at the bar and the waiter served me a beer and complementary bread. He then brought me my salad but gave me no utensils and had not come back to check on me. I ate the salad with my hands. Then my food was brought to me. I ate my food with my hands even though the waiter walked right by me and watched me never bothering to grab me any utensils. If it’s customary that I have to ask for utensils in a restaurant….then I accept full responsibility and I am at fault. After I was done eating, I got up to go and clean my hands in the restroom. Only then after I got up did the waiter decide to bring me a set of utensils. It was too late. I was done. I paid and left. I’m not going to say that I don’t recommend the Longhorn Steakhouse, bc their food is good, and I have had excellent service before. I think it’s time the culture changes as a whole and starts making efforts to put the customer first and treat them as though they need the customer. Customer service is truly a lost art in todays society. It’s shameful! I encourage management to go back and look at camera footage to support the complaint. I will be back again, but not at that location.
it was not busy either at that...
Read moreUpdate: Wife and I went back off Chicken Fried Steak tonight. We both thought the cube steak was quite tough. Additionally, my wife's broccoli was cold. So, all in all, not the best visit but still good enough to keep the 4-star ranking.
Date night with the wife. Restaurant staff all wore masks and properly socially-distanced customers throughout the establishment. Although there was a full bar, the drink list provided was rather limited. The food selection however was robust. I had to request a clean set of utensils at the beginning.
I chose the 12 oz Parmesan-Crusted Chicken with Baked Sweet Potato and upgraded to the Signature side salad. The salad was massive. It was topped with a strawberry vinaigrette and was delicious. The free bread went well with the salad.
The chicken was fantastic! I ordered the 12 oz. serving and I took an entire breast home for leftovers. The sauce covering the chicken was great. The Sweet Potato was topped with cinnamon sugar and butter. It was very good. The waitress even remembered to bring my Peach tea when the food came out.
My wife had the beef and shrimp combo and her fries were on point. We shared the strawberry short cake for dessert. It was also good. All in all, I'd definitely recommend the restaurant and would return again. I docked it one star for the utensils but it was a very...
Read moreMy wife and I celebrated our anniversary dinner here, and if you're looking for a steakhouse, this is it. I have no complaints whatsoever! Despite being busy, they seated us promptly. While I'm not a big steak enthusiast and wasn't feeling too hungry at the time, everything I ordered was delicious, expertly prepared, and generously portioned. The peach tea I had was exceptional, and the complimentary bread with whipped butter was a delightful touch. We started with savory Thai chicken nuggets. My meal consisted of a house salad, ribeye steak, mac and cheese, and grilled street corn. My wife enjoyed a house salad, lobster soup, New York strip steak, fries, shrimp, and wine. The steak was so good, and well seasoned with flavor, I didn't even need steak sauce. The meal was thoroughly enjoyable, complemented by impeccable service. Our attentive and friendly waitress offered excellent recommendations. The ambiance was ideal for a celebratory dinner—comfortably atmospheric with pleasant music. We will undoubtedly return. Finally, the outstanding molten lava cake, with its unique ice cream and rich chocolate layers, provided a fantastic finish to a...
