By far the worst service ever. Not only do I find a hair in my spigitti was refused a replacement plate, horrible cumunication, sat and waited for it to come out after three times asking the weight dress just to replace that trying not to be too needy. She comes back says they're not going to charge me for the spaghetti and after waiting 10 minutes never even brought it out. Then my husband whom has worked at a Greek restaurant and ordered chicken suviliki that has never come with onions and their menu not describeing what's on it and cannot eat onions tells the waitress this she takes his plate and never cumunicates that he still has to pay for it and never returned the sandwich he had only taken two bites out of takes his food and proceeds to charge us for it. I'm just in shock the experience and customer horrible service and extremely horrible communication. So for a been there for an hour or two bites of a sandwich one small bowl of soup that came with the spaghetti mail that had the hair in it read Communication. So for a been there for an hour and two bites of a sandwich one small bowl of soup that was the soup that came with the spaghetti meal that had the hair in it that I wasn't being charged for they still charge me for the soup that was included in the price with the spigitti me and my son never got to really even eat, soda, milk and a cookie. $20 for a sandwich they kept mind you. I'm really mind blown. Mind you we walked around for a minute trying to pick the best place to eat with our two children and turned out to be the worst restaurant experience in my life. Never paid so much for such horrible service. All we wanted was spigitti. Now we're so mind blown by their service we're just going home and our night out with the family at OOB was not what we intended and we come here a lot. But never again eating their. I would say the cumunication was the worst along with the service not to even mention the food. You'd think they'd want to make it right and not give us a run for our money. I've had some not so good experiences at restaurant but they are far worse than anything I've ever encountered. I'm just mine blown by what just happened. If I could get no stars that I would have. For the record I usually never give bad reviews my husband said wow that's the first when I said I was giving a bad review. You just don't treat good ppl willing to spend money and compromise and refuse to compromise and leave them with nothing to eat and still charge us. Crazy. So now we will continue to wait and have to eat somewhere else because they refused to bring my spaghetti back out with no hair in it and give my husband back his sandwich if it was such as fault for not knowing there was onions on it whenever you results...
Read moreThis is the first time I've ever walked out of a restaurant in disgust without getting my food. Absolutely horrible customer experience. We were a group of 8. There were plenty of tables available, but the waitress seemed a little put off by our size, then said we'd need to split between two of them. Kind of off-putting, but fine. First warning sign, it turns out. Second warning sign was how slow said waitress was. Took her a while to even give us silverware, another ten minutes to take our drink order. Seemed to forget about us until I gestured to her ten minutes after that to actually deliver said drinks. She seemed completely uninterested in serving us unless I waved at her. Finally we order our food, then sit there waiting. And waiting. We get our salads finally, but no entree. By now we've been there over an hour, and my three year old is asking when the food is coming. So my wife goes over to the waitress, who's done her best not to make eye contact with us, and asks. Comes back stunned, saying they haven't even begun cooking it yet. Just to be clear, they were not overly busy. There were plenty of open tables. At that point, we got up and told her we were paying for our drinks and leaving, and that this was unacceptable. The waitress didn't apologize and didn't show an ounce of remorse, feebly mumbling something about how there were "all these other people here too". Please, spare me. She turns and tells the kitchen and the cook back there throws her hands up in the air, basically saying "whatever". Clearly they didn't care. They didn't apologize, didn't offer to comp us our drinks. I've been with my wife for 14 years and I've never seen her go off on a restaurant's wait staff the way she did. And deservedly so. Chrys's Restaurant doesn't care about customer service and does not deserve anyone's...
Read moreWe went there the morning of theiIronman 70.3. You'd think they would have doubled the staff in preparation for the amount of people in OOB this date. But they didn't. It doesn't matter though, because we stood in line for over a half hour while there were a half dozen empty tables. The host was busy busting tables without a tub or a bucket, so not good time management as he rand back and forth multiple times clearing one table as the line grew. We sat and I got a coffee. Our order was taken and we sat there for another 30 minutes waiting on eggs and bacon. I never got another coffee, even after the food was placed on out table. I continued watching the staff running around with people waiting to be seated. At one time I counted nine, yes 9, vacant tables and people were still standing at the door waiting to be seated. Really? The food was good, not great. It's probably good they weren't sweating guests because I dont think the staff could handle it. It's not worth the wait and I'll...
