I REALLY dislike leaving bad reviews, but this comes after multiple bad visits. This location has some management issues that really need to be addressed. We were seated quickly which, unfortunately, is the only positive about this visit. The waitress took a few minutes to acknowledge us and she seemed a bit hurried. Could have been a staffing issue, so I told her to take her time. When she returned she scoffed and pointed out that the greeter seated us without giving us silverware and napkins. We then ordered beverages and I asked that she go ahead and put in my little one's kids meal order. She brought back his drink first and nothing else but I went ahead and placed the other orders. Another lady comes with my son's pizza. I immediately notice the cheese isn't even melted. I touched it near the center and it's still frozen, which was obvious just by looking at it. The waitress came back with his side and our starter and I showed her the pizza was frozen. She agreed and took it back and while she was gone I realized my son's bowl was covered in fingerprints with some type of sauce. She then came back with drinks for me and my oldest. My drink was only filled about a third of the way and had not a single cube of ice, but I didn't notice right away. She leaves and comes back with my side salad. We still don't have silverware or napkins. I mention it again and she returns with only silverware. I asked for napkins again and she quickly brought them back. I was about to take a bite of my salad when I notice there was a white film just around the rim of the bowl. Then I notice INSIDE the bowl is covered in BBQ sauce. I took pics of everything except the pizza which I will post. When she returned with his second pizza I told her we'd like to cancel the order and quietly told her why because I really didn't want to cause a scene or get her in trouble. I just wanted to enjoy dinner with my children. She looked at me as though it was a personal attack on her and walked away frowning and mumbling under her breath...no apology, no let me get the manager, let me fix this, nothing. I was in the area for work, staying at a hotel nearby, and walked over after a VERY long, physically demanding day. Diedra, the bartender, was so warm, kind, and welcoming as soon as I sat down.
I was craving something light, just protein and green veggies, so I settled on the guiltless sirloin and asparagus. Now I cook a LOT at home, and my husband and I have yet to enjoy asparagus at a restaurant that we really liked. Most places, to include some of your higher end steakhouses, pan sear the stalks leaving them bland and giving it a rubbery texture. I typically roast asparagus, which gives it a nice crisp. I will also admit, I typically avoid big chain restaurants, but figured it was close and walkable, so gave it a shot given how tired I was.
Having said all that, my dinner was AMAZING!!! The steak was cooked PERFECTLY (ordered it rare) and the asparagus was just how I make it at home!!! I was floored. Everything was seasoned so well, too; I honestly only added a tad of black pepper out of habit but it really didn't need it. It is sometimes difficult to get a lighter, healthier meal while traveling, but Chilis hit the nail on the head with this one. (I am terrible at food pictures, but sharing just in case you were curious.)
Between the genuinely kind and welcoming service and the food, I absolutely recommend if you are in the area, and I will definitely be back!! Thank you to the team there for giving me an amazing meal; everything hit the spot, and you all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI never have any problems until I come to this location. Itās 9:30 and empty. I walked in, and the bar tender was standing stagnant by the to-go pickup register. I walked up expecting to be helped. She turned and walked away lol. Another girl walks across the restaurant, and we make eye contact, but she too, diverts to another section of the restaurant. By this time, 5 minutes have passed and another customer has walked in. I go to the bar and ask the bartender if she or any other worker is coming to help the to-go section. She begins taking orders for the 3 guests at the bar and makes drinks while telling me that someone would be right with me. She tells the girl (that didnāt help me before) to help the to-go section. The girl walks off saying something about āI donāt haveā or āI donāt knowā.....another 7 minutes pass and the girl and the manager come up arguing. The manager and the girl are both wearing AirPods and screaming at each other as they both prepare food WITHOUT GLOVES. Another 10 minutes goes by as the manager is telling a guy to ring me out and she was paperwork that she needs to do. The guy is front her heās never done to-go and asks for her help. The manager proceeds to get an attitude and talk to him in a belittling tone. So all in all, I placed the order online, gave them 20 minutes (I only got chicken strips), and waited an extra 30 minutes just to get the wrong food. The management and training at this location is among the worst Iāve ever seen. I only gave it 1 star...
