I made an order for CONTACTLESS delivery from Domino's OB tonight and placed the order at 11:18 PM on 3/22/2022.
The app on my phone froze after they took it out of the oven to "make sure that it was perfect." I gave them a call at 12:06 AM to make sure that the pizza was on the way, and they assured me that it was but was going to be about another 45 minute wait. 12:55 AM - still no pizza. I give them another call to check on the order, and the very nice woman tells me that it will be another 15 minutes and the driver will deliver. No problem.
Remember this is a contactless delivery. There is no interaction with customer in these types of deliveries and in most cases the delivery person sets the food on the door step.
1:30 AM - No pizza. I call back to speak with a manager and immediately the (nice woman I had spoke to previously) manager picks up and tells me that the driver just arrived back to the store and attempted to call the phone number on the order 4 times, but since there was no answer, she came back to the store.
This is completely unacceptable and now I am left without anything to eat, which is the main reason I was even willing to be as patient as I was throughout the whole thing. I understand it is busy, and I understand it is late.
Contactless deliveries are exactly that. They are contactless. You do not have to speak to me in order to deliver the food to my address. Do better, Domino's.
When asked if there could be any compensation for the trouble tonight (e.g. bringing me my pizza, which the driver just got back to your store with) I was offered a free order of BREADSTICKS. That is insulting!!
I definitely won't be ordering again any time soon and I will be letting all of my friends and family know about my experience here...

My mom placed an order with Domino’s tonight and they called to get directions(this is common as they do this every time we order) but about 20 minutes later we get another call asking for directions. My mom says no problem and gives them the address again. We didn’t think anything of it and another 30 minutes go by and we start wondering where our order is. So we check the app to find out our order was canceled. Upon calling the store we find out that we “cussed the driver out and they will no longer be delivering to us” I have been sitting in the same room as my mom and a few other people all night and she didn’t cuss or even raise her voice. On top of that she wasn’t even rude! If they don’t want to deliver to our address anymore due to them not knowing where the house is that’s fine. But don’t make up a story to get out of a delivery. And if you do at least call to tell us the delivery is canceled. Now last minute at 8pm we have to change plans and figure out what we are going to eat. This experience is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Read moreUsually get exceptional service and my order is always correct and timely .... the particular cashier I had last time was new and kinda rude which is why 4 stars .... but besides that one cashier I would give 5 stars.....I am updating this to 1 star would be 0 if possible tried to order last night online through my profile with them as always. But this time their web page said my payment didn't go through except it did I get a text everytime my card is used so I call the store and was told they don't have my order to call their corporate office (which was closed) . I call the store again and ask to talk to a manager and was rudely told (the managers are busy right now what do you need) so I explain everything again and was told tge only option was to call the corporate office but I could reorder and repay to get my order to go through and call the corporate office tomorrow to get my money back for the original order. Call the corporate office this morning and no one ever answers it just goes to a voice-mail saying someone will call you in 72 hours. There are better ways to handle this type of situation and when a customer ask to speak to a manager the should be allowed to do so. And corporate should answer or call back before 72 hours.
