I work for a non-profit, and our crew had to take lunch somewhere. We decided on this sandwich shop. I've had Subway many times before, so I figured it would be comparable.
My whole crew enjoyed their sandwiches, but mine was disgusting.
I like to taste vinegar on my sandwich, so I ordered my sandwich with extra vinegar. When the sandwich came to me, it was sopping with oil, and I couldn't taste the vinegar AT ALL.
So I went up to the counter and waited while they were all talking to notice me. A person addressed me and I asked if they had vinegar packets. They didn't, but the worker filled a cup for me.
I sit back down and open the sandwich and pour HALF of the cup in the sandwich, hoping the acid will cut some of this oil. I take a bite and STILL can't taste the vinegar! So I dump the rest of the cup on the sandwich and try eating it again. . .
Absolutely disgusting! The vinegar he gave me wasn't even pink, it was clear with a yellowish hue, which I thought was weird, because it's the RED balsamic variety of vinegar that's usually provided in sandwich shops.
For the few hours following, my stomach was SO sick from eating that oil soaked sandwich, and it was $15! I won't ever eat there again!
Too bad the food is like that. The sayings on the wall were neat, but I couldn't enjoy them trying to eat that...

I mis-read their sign and went inside to purchase a sandwich. I didn’t get 3 feet inside door before I was met by a young women, who asked if I had a mask. I said no. She said to be inside you have to wear a mask. I said is that what your sign says? She said YES. I said OK and left.
Her tone was horrible. She seemed more satisfied to kick me out than try to take care of a customer. Many ways to resolve the situation than take great pride in kicking me out. If I was the business owner of this establishment I would look to re-train or maybe re-hire.
They own the business and can set any policy they like. No problem, but hire and train people to be courteous and...
Read moreJust left there and spent $25 on three sandwich that were literally "thrown together" the guy making my sandwich was so focused on being fast that I had to stop and remind him multiple times on what we wanted on our sandwiches. Also there is no kid menu and you cannot order a slim and add lettuce or tomato. Asked for mayo on my tuna sandwich and was told there is mayo in packets..... I just watched him spread mayo on two other sandwiches? Also did not tell me where to find these "packets" nor did he ask if I wanted them. When we got hime 5o open our sandwhiches there was stuff all over the place. Awful place to go. I eat at Jimmy Jones regularly near Tacoma and have never had such...
