This location just opened spring 2017. It is a nice freestanding store. It is medium size, with drive through. The products are Starbucks so prices are reliable. The drinks served here are different than all the other locations I have patronized. The drinks are bitter. I have ordered a variety and all share bitterness not typical of other locations. It is not the most convenient location. The store sits prominently on the side of Cooper Point road, but driving, you must turn into a shopping area, drive past Starbucks, turn into a Sonic restaurant and drive past it back toward the street to Starbucks. It is located just north of the intersection of Black Lake Blvd. and Cooper Point road. Both of these roads are heavily travelled. Traveling North on Cooper Point you need to turn left to get to Starbucks. Be careful and use the left turn lane on the right. There are two turn lanes and the left one continues to turn left again not toward Starbucks. Heading south on Cooper Point you will need to turn right to get to Starbucks. However, the right lane of Cooper Point southbound tends to back up from Black Lake Blvd. well beyond Starbucks as traffic is heading for interstate highway access. Once past the turn into Starbucks another lane is added for traffic turning right, but you will wait through several lights before getting to turn during peak hours. This traffic pattern was too crowded before Starbucks and Sonic were added to the same entrance as the other stores. Now the backup...
Read moreDisappointed with the staff at this starbucks. A man, who looked homeless, was sitting at a table with items he purchased. He wasn't doing anything. He wasn't loud, he wasn't doing drugs, he was just sitting there and resting his head on his arms at a small table away from everyone. It was freezing and rainy outside. He was approached by staff and told he needs to leave and if not they would call the cops. She sternly told him again to leave. He just sat at the table, trying to gather himself. She left to call the cops. What's so inclusive about starbucks? Where's the welcoming environment? I hate how a company preaches one thing and does another cause their customer doesn't look a certain way. He wasn't doing anything wrong. F you starbucks. You lost a customer.
Edit- Went to buy him some new clothes. Came back and he was out on the sidewalk, soaking wet. His name is Darrell and he is so kind. He was so thankful for the clothes. He's still a person, people get comfortable and forget that. They don't think about how they would feel, shivering cold and wet, stuck outside in the freezing cold. I wish the world had...
Read moreGoing down hill fast. Let me say that I have frequented this Starbucks on numerous times since it opened. It has never been fast, but at least orders were correct and the staff was friendly. I have noticed that over the past several months things have drastically gone from decent to one of the worst Starbucks in town. Today I waited in the drive thru line for 20 minutes (couldn't go inside because there was no parking) only to get to the window to be told that they don't have half of what I just ordered in stock. No big deal, things happen. Then the green tea latte that they did have had zero foam and almost zero matcha. Thanks for the green steamed milk. The worker, with the too cool for school attitude, took for ever to get the remainder of my order (a horizons chocolate milk). Didn't apologize for the confusion with the order, say thanks or interact at all. Customer service here is horrible. Go inside of Haagan's or down Cooper Point to the other Starbucks and save yourself...
