We ordered the Black Sesame Fried Rice and the Spicy Sesame Soba. The rice was ultimately edible, however, it was not fried. The rice was clumpy and unseasoned. It appeared to be cooked white rice mixed with the vegetables, which I can’t understand. Fried rice is not a difficult dish to make, and yet somehow this was lazy and I can’t imagine anyone with a background or experience cooking Asian food would ever make this. The Spicy Sesame Soba was inedible and falsely advertised. Grilled vegetables it was supposed to come with: mushrooms, onions, carrots, green onions. What it came with: an entire bed of raw cabbage, one piece of raw sliced onion, a few slices of raw carrot. The noodles were clumped together in a giant lump of sesame paste. There are few places I can grab a quick, healthy vegan lunch while driving between job sites. I’ve had most things on the menu and regularly get the tofu katsu, the bbq rice special they had and onigiri. The rice dish portions are sizable and make for good left overs.
