The owner is very friendly, was greeted enthusiastically my first time in.

The place is cozy, popular with the local crowd, the Banh Mi (Vietnamese Sandwich) I had was one of a few Vegetarian/Vegan options. I personally order without Mayo, which makes their sandwiches vegan. The French Roll was fresh, the Tofu Curry was firm, the way I like it! The sauces used were flavourful, fresh veggies. I also had their Vegetarian/Vegan spring rolls, very fresh ingredients!

If you want affordability and quality, and to slake your appetite, this is the best spot in town for a good Banh Mi for lunch!

I will definitely be trying other Vegan options here!

If you are gluten intolerant, then unfortunately there aren't any gluten free breads. Some of their other offerings may not have gluten. (ask when coming in!)

(There is a wheelchair accessible entrance, but there are no public restrooms!) Parking is very limited due to street parking. It is best to walk, bike, or use public transit to get here! (It is on Capitol Way)

So ... the food was great, quite excellent actually. But I want to write about what happened after. I got food around 12 pm. Unbeknowest to me, my wallet fell out of my pocket as I exited the building to go to my car. I didn't notice. Around 6:30 pm, I get a knock on my door. (I hadn't realized the wallet was missing) It is the owner of Nom Nom, standing there, with my wallet. He had seen someone go to grab a wallet that was on the ground, and went out and explained that he thought it was one of his customer's. He saw my address on my drivers license and dropped it off at my house after work. They have my lunch time food vote for the rest of time. Excellent Bahn Mi sandwiches are a good find, but finding a business that is so supportive and special... that is quite...

I have been here before several years ago and they cooked my Banh Mi sandwich on the spot....it was amazing! HOWEVER, I don't know if they have changed ownership or started adopting cats. When I entered the store it smelled like a KITTY LITTER box that hadn't been changed for weeks! I still ordered food and noticed that all of it was microwaved... So sad. When I got home, I had to take a shower and wash my clothes because the Kitty Litter smell was stuck to me!....I sat down to eat my food, the Kitty Litter smell had permeated the bag and the food wrappings. I felt like I was going to puke! I tossed out the food and made a grilled cheese.... Guess I have to find another...
