Finding a Scooter's that can make the same drink consistently, with the same (and correct) taste, is a challenge. Usually this one is pretty good, but my experience today totally ruined that for me. I ordered a tea and received what looked like the tea, but tasted exactly like eating a spoonful of whey powder. I asked about adding more peach into the drink, thinking perhaps that was the issue - the girl takes it back, apparently adds more, gives it back, and it tastes even more like whey powder. She had no idea what the issue was, so I'm not actually sure she knew what the drink I was asking for was supposed to be like. I went to a different Scooter's, ordered the same drink (at this point wasting money) and received a tea with so much peach in it the color was way darker than usual and it just tasted like a mouthful of peach. Scooter's seriously needs to work on consistent training across their locations to produce drinks that taste correct and actually good. I can't tell you the money I've wasted at Scooter's where the drink is so drastically different than what you'll get at another location that you just don't want to drink it. I'm not sure I'll actually return to Scooter's after this point. I would suggest finding a different drink shop to order from, because you don't know what you'll get from Scooter's and you cannot rely on the drink tasting good or even the same way that it did last time...
Read moreI use to regularly visit this location on my way to work. I've noticed over time the service has gotten worse, and you're lucky if the baristas are friendly. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to this location. I stopped in on my way to work on 8/20 and ordered an iced oatmeal creme pie latte over ice. (I also get iced due to allergies and cross contamination, which corporate told me was safe.) The barista repeated it back as iced. When I got to the window, she said hot. I politely let her know it was to be iced. They handed me a plastic cup that was lukewarm, I believe they made it hot and poured it over ice. By the time I got to work, the ice was melted and the drink was still warm. I had to refrigerate it for a while before I could drink it. I noticed the milk was fluffy like steamed milk is. I ended up getting a stomach ache that lasted through the night. Overall, I'm sad this location has become one to avoid. Thankfully, there is a Starbucks near by where the drinks and service have...
Read moreWhat an establishment! When I went to grab my morning coffee I did not know I was going to meet a real life super star. In my absolute state of awe I completely forgot to grab my sandwich but I was in good hands because Chloe, aka the female Usain Bolt, aka the two legged bipedal land walking Michael Phelps, wasted no time in full on sprinting towards me like the flash! She flagged me down from all the way across the parking lot and damn near teleported to bring me BY HAND my forgotten bacon ciabatta that was cooked to perfection as if Zeus himself masterfully seared it with one of his mythical lightning bolts. I simply CANNOT say enough good things about this former track star turned bakery chef, ten out of ten would recommend to anyone within ten miles of the 72nd and dodge location radius. Please for the love of god give this woman a raise before im forced to take a loan out from my bank so I can open up a bakery and...
