Absolutely thrilled with my recent visit to Five Guys! I decided to indulge in their bacon cheeseburger 🥓 🧀 🍔 , and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The burger was a substantial size, brimming with juicy flavors, compelling me to use a knife to cut it into manageable bites😋 I opted for the "all the way" topping selection, minus the pickles, and every bite was a delightful burst of flavors. Alongside, I ordered the Cajun fries, which were a revelation in themselves—perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with just the right amount of spice to add a kick without overwhelming the palate. 🍟Beyond the food, what stood out to me was the cleanliness of the store❣️ It's evident that they take pride in maintaining a spotless environment, which greatly enhances the dining experience. Ok. I at first thought I was seeing things.

A bacon burger at Five Guys is…… $11.69

That has to be a combo meal, right?

Nope. Just the burger.

There is a sign in the window that says the store is hiring at….

$13 an hour.

So… Five Guys.

You charge $11.69 for a bacon burger and only pay staff $13 an hour.

Five Guys. Wow. What a company.

Owned by the Murrell family - it sold 1.7 BILLION in burgers in 2021.

The only way we will ever see the change we need in the world is by saying no to $12 burgers at a fast food joint that pays their works so little they can’t afford to eat there.

If we refuse to pay, then the prices will have to go down.

Why do we pay and line the pockets of these rich owners?

Don’t eat at Five Guys.

I love Five Guys fries so much I have literally gone there just for the fries and nothing else. The burgers are good but the fries ...chef's kiss. The burgers, while good, are very pricey, and you're looking at between 8.50 and 15 which is very pricey when you aren't sitting down at a dine in restaurant with servers waiting the table. The fries are 'meant to be shared' but when you want to hoard all the fries like a goblin, this all adds up quickly. Last time I ate there I spent $20+ on a little cheeseburger, fries and a drink.
