Black Rock Coffee — Restaurant in Oregon City

OK, I’m gonna gush about this location just a bit. All of the girls who work at this location do a seriously great job. They are all friendly, helpful and every single time I’ve ever gotten a coffee from them, it has been a damn good drink. I usually get the blended Mexican mocha, and I just love it because it’s not like other coffee places where it feels like straight sugar being pumped into my veins!! It’s ALWAYS perfect. Like every single time, they never fail me at this location… Even when I ordered DoorDash this morning right when they opened at 5 AM, the drink is made to perfection. The whipped cream was fresh and fluffy and light, the drink was actually blended and not just made with some pre-blended frozen coffee mixture (Dutch Bros) yuckkkkkk! And the coffee is SO GOOD, strong and smooth and creamy and delicious, like it’s basically perfectly balanced with creamy chocolate and strong coffee! I am also pregnant so coffee legitimately makes me very happy when I get to have it and they just never disappoint at this location and it’s always busy and packed… With long lines that don’t take long at all. I wonder why? Because they make some damn good coffee, I swear people, I won’t go anywhere else. I’m sorry, but the one star reviews are a bunch of BS. According to one of the reviews, how are the girls supposed to know to remake your drink if you don’t tell them? They would happily do that for you. And if you have such severe dietary restrictions, but you drink that drink anyway? Even though it would make you sick for days? If you know what it’s supposed to look like, and it did not look right, they won’t know to fix it and also, maybe it was someone new or being trained? Sounds like a bunch of bologna to me. Communication is key here, people. And these girls have done nothing but deliver for me. I’m thinking I might do something nice for them just to show them that the community absolutely loves them here in Oregon city. Thank you Black Rock girls. You ladies always...

Possibly the worst blackrock I've ever been too. They provide Terrible service, always in a rush to get back to socializing with each other instead of making orders correct. and when they make a drink incorrect, they lie to your face and say it's they way it's made. When you ask them to remake it the way you asked, they usually developed an attitude and put minimal effort into the remade drink. I've been to at least 8-10 other black rock coffee bars, and I can absolutely tell you that this one is the worst of them all. If I could rate this place with zero stars, I most definitely would. If HR or corporate reads this, I would highly consider laying these people off, and hire new people who aren't biased and pick and choose when they want to put in the effort. I myself work in customer service and I provide each and every customer with respect and the best I can do, so that I display fantastic public relation skills and make my company look great. Now I have to travel around 35 minutes to order from a further black rock, or just go to dutch bros for 100% honesty and professional...

Holy cow, I wasn't expecting the quality of coffee I got.

First off, the coffee is a better quality and darker roast than either Starbucks or Dutch bros.

Secondly, they always make it picture perfect from what I observed as a customer. My cup is always really pretty, and I love the taste.

Thirdly, the drinks are more reasonably priced. $6ish for a double blended drink vs $8ish is kind of important for me. It allows me to get a few more drinks in a month.

They don't have as many menu items as Duch, but they have enough menu options to keep me entertained.
