Came into this store today and had a terrible experience. We were purchasing a refillable cup and reactivating one of our previous cups. As annual passholders we frequently visit city walk as well as Islands & Universal. The cashier in this establishment failed to provide us with a receipt for our purchase. We immediately mentioned to her we needed the receipt for our purchase. The receipt was extremly necessary in this transaction because with the purchase of the cups in IOA and Universal, you are able to replace the cups throughout the day as long as you have the receipt. It has happened to us before and we were able to swiftly get our cup back. For this resason if was immperative for us not to leave without the receipt. Our plans were to enjoy the day in the parks. The cashier called the manager (Brendon) and he came to “help”. However, for some reason he was not knowledgeable of how the register worked or had no alternative to print our receipt. This of course was extremly odd! We asked him to figure out an alternative to get our receipt printed such as getting a refund and repurchassing the items in order to complete the transaction with a receipt. He tried to do a refund and again he was not familiar with his own device and stated he did not know how to refund the “reactivated cup”. We explained that at this point we had spent an extensive amount of time and would be fine getting a refund for the new cup and then we would repurchase with the expected receipts post transaction. Brendon proceeded to give us a refund for the new cup and was unable to refund the reactivated cup. (No receipt was given for the refund either).
At this point one of the cashiers (unknown name) along with (Yuu) who was supposed to cooking the buns start making faces and side comments about us to each other. I explain to them that they are being rude and they should at least wait until we leave the store before they start talking bad about customers (especially considering that this was their mess up and they have wasted 30min of our park time due to lack of understanding of their system). The cook (Yuu) continues to banter about how he is going to call security on us. My husband then stated “for what”?!? We were shocked with the treatment! The manager of course did not handle the situation properly adding fuel to the fire again making it seemmwe were being irrational by asking for our transaction receipt. He then stated he “had wasted enough of his time trying to get us our receipt”. Wow! Maybe if theh would have given us our receipt we would not be bothering him to do his job. He then said we would have to go to guest services and he would no longer try to help us.
The guest service line was LONG! We decided to take our losses and repurchase the cups at the next vendor in irder to get the receipts. However, we felt that this not only wasted our time, made us feel uncomfortable, and in the end we had to spend extra money that was unneecessary had we been given the receipt post transaction. Since we were spending the day at the parks we did not want our cups to be lost or stolen and not have the ability to get a new cup...
Read moreI have had Cinnabuns in various locations all over. But this location the cinnabun was dry, icing did not cover the whole bun like other locations. When asked if exta melted icing could be applied. They just looked at each other and then said that woild be extra.. The expectation of cinnamon was not there. I even bought extra icing to help compensate. I went back after trying to eat bun. That I did not finish eating. I went to express my disatisfaction. Again the employees looked at each other. They shrugged they shoulders, said and did nothing. No apology nothing. Showing me that that they didnt care one way or the other. So I asked for a manager. Which they said he was in the City Walk and that they would contact him but it would be awhile. So I said nevermind. Overall bad experience for food and service. Would not try again! Read moreI just left City Walk Cinnabon at Universal Orlando, Florida. I told them I wanted the four pack they had on their menu . The guy waiting on me kept trying to give me ones that were not hot and had been sitting for who knows how long. I asked three times if I could have the fresh ones that were hot in the display case. He told me I could have them but they were more I asked how much more then what you have listed on your menu he gave me a price which came out to be almost 8.00 more then what was listed all because we wanted fresh and hot ones. I explained to him I wanted them to eat now and his reply was I can heat the ones sitting over there up but still refused to sell me the ones in the case. I told him never mind and left. They lost a sale and a customer who stops every time I’m here. Horrible...
