The worst of the worst!!! Bring your own cleaning supplies: boric acid to keep the roaches/bugs out the room, towels/wash clothes, broom/dust pan, mop, lysol, bleach, etc (EVERYTHING). I stayed here for a few months while looking for permeant housing. I always reserved a room with a microwave and mini refrigerator weeks in advance (always had issue re-checking/extended stay each week. Which also came with more fees because the rooms that were suppose to have a microwave/refrigerator never do). The 1st room I was put in didn't have neither one (2nd floor), also had remains of previous guest, dead roaches, not properly cleaned. Changed rooms (1st floor) but didn't have a microwave, room not properly cleaned (food still in refrigerator from past guest). Changed to another room, on the 1st floor (properly cleaned by Mrs. B) with microwave/refrigerator. Stayed in this room for awhile (make sure to put boric acid around your room to keep out the roaches) until the roaches started to come past my boric acid, the hallway was flooded and black mold start to grow on the ceiling in the room and bathroom, tub wouldn't drain and the light fixture in the bathroom fell off.
A lot of kids (various ages) running around the hotel unsupervised (with all the drugs, questionable people and possible sex trafficking, this is not a place to allow your kids roam freely unsupervised), place smells like weed, mold and a zoo with all the animal feces/urine (barking dogs), people doing drugs and drug deals outside (especially near the pool) at all times of the day/night, getting harassed by Orlando Police Department because you are sitting in your car, loud music and crazy activity (very hard to sleep at night), walls are thin (people yelling, playing music/tv loud and banging up against the walls), roach infestation: depending on where you are in the motel but you will definitely see them in the main entrance, elevator (when it works). You had to reset your room keys every other day. They allow pets, so its like a zoo and the hallways have stains, trash and smells so bad. The AC nor the bathroom have a dehumidifier (black mold started to grow). Loitering in the lobby/outside all day/night, not secure (only one of the door readers actually locked, the rest were broken and never got fixed the entire time i was there), wifi is very slow (and your cell signal in the motel is limited).
S/O to Myesha (I think that's how you spelled it) my favorite front desk who checked me in when i got there, very friendly, would always forward/check on any issues i had. Mrs. B the main housekeeper (no longer there) friendly, if she aint clean it, its not done right. Mrs. Tony one of the managers (no longer there) friendly, always got things done, very helpful and checked me back in with ease (with no extra fees).
Natalia (manager) was rude and didn't get anything done (had to ask several times), always had an issue when re-checking in.
The owners do not care about this place. This motel 6 needs a big renovation (cleaning, upgrades, fixing, etc.). I was hopeful for a budget friendly stay but this is not worth it. Overall I WILL NEVER COME BACK, better off staying in my car. For just a bit more money you can stay in a better hotel in this area and not have to deal with the hassle of no complimentary shampoo/conditioner/fridge/microwave,...
Read moreI had a room here from November 16,2023 to April 4, 2024.WARNING !! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Ive watched everything happening here from Motel 6 employees arguing in front of guest, fighting, rooms broke into. The infestation of roaches in each and every room but they will tell you they just had the building exterminated. The GM Natalia is barely at work and when you ask to speak to management there’s always an excuse of why she isn’t at work the only time she comes out her “apartment “ is to take her son to school. Amy is very homophobic will tell you all the reasons of why she’s against the LGBTQI community and let you know her beliefs which is very unprofessional and not her job as a night auditor at motel 6.She will also tell you everything motel 6 and other employees did wrong but make it seem like it’s all your fault. Amy will follow and chase you with a yellow pry bar and let you know she’s black because her kids are black and she loves black men.Shelby is one of the newest employees she would get free rooms from Amy behind the Assistant GM back because Shelby used to live in a tent behind motel 6 but she will ask you for money and then cause a issue with you then call the police to have you trespassed the rooms are infested as I already said the laundry room is shut down due to all the hotel and the ceiling collapsing the elevator doesn’t work as normal it leaks hydraulic fluid and they keep the elevator running. The best employees that were there was Isis, Jasmyn and Amanda but Isis quit because of the threats from Amy and management didn’t fix the issue it was told it was a them problem, as well as the unprofessional ways of motel 6 they want to be a 5 star hotel so bad but fail to look at the issues they cause and the issues within the hotel they won’t fix like trimming the trees over getting the door near the pool fixed or the elevator or tenting the motel because of the roaches. Amanda was a wonderful employee as well she was honest and very professional and handled everything according to policy but you know when you know to much your a threat. Jasmyn was very wonderful at her job even went the extra mile of still working for the hotel when not being compensated. Which is normal I guess because other guest as well as myself have cleaned up rooms or as they say flipped rooms to help them make money but once I stopped doing for them they started being shady and I have many recording and...
Read moreOn December 29th 2024, my boyfriend and I drove to Florida from Tennessee to stay at this motel while on vacation. I paid $67.88 a night for a total of 4 days, totaling to $312.64. Once we got to our first room, I immediately spoke to the front desk about switch rooms because the television or AC didn’t seem to work. It was a very dim TV screen and I brought my XBOX. We were moved from room 217 to room 219. Although we found roaches throughout the first night, we let it slide since we were tired from driving and knew would be out around Disney World anyways. We came back to the motel after being at Disney World all day around 10pm. We showered, got ready for the next day, so were asleep by midnight at the latest. Around 3am the first alarm going off. We were confused and tired, but it wouldn’t stop so I checked it out. Luckily I didn’t see a fire when I opened the door, so I searched around for the stairs just in case the fire was downstairs. Again, there was no fire. I asked the front desk if everything was ok, and the lady at the desk said it could be bad batteries and to take the smoke detector off the wall till maintenance could look into it. As tired as I was, I complied and went back to bed. By day 3 my party tried to leave a day early since we found another place to stay at. The motel offers the option to leave early with a refunded amount per day we didn’t stay, however, when I went to check out early they told me I couldn’t get refunded after all. Apparently I was put on the Do Not Rent list, which meant no refunds or extensions. I asked why, but the clerk told me that now since I have asked why, she wouldn’t be able to tell me because it was part of their policy not to explain once questioned. She gave me the number to call customer service and said they couldn’t tell me. I asked the motel for the GM like customer service said to, but was told I couldn’t ask for the GMs name because it was confidential. This left no explanation, communication, or refund. I’m sure they thought we we’re smoking in the room since the alarm went off, but that simply wasn’t the case and it wasn’t fair we weren’t given the chance to speak on our behalf. Especially after paying so much for a room that was guaranteed to be clean and have TV. Please read reviews...
