The Patio — Restaurant in Orlando

DO NOT GO HERE, YOUR PHONE WILL GET STOLEN. I've gotten my phone stolen here not once, but TWICE. I have every reason to believe that this is an inside job and that the employees are stealing the iPhones and then re-selling them. The second time I came here was because my friends really wanted to go there, so I joined them. Within 5 minutes of entering, I checked my purse and my phone was GONE. Right before I entered I had my phone in my purse and so I am positive that the employee that was checking me for security at the entrance stole it when I had my purse opened to show him inside (I must've turned around or he caught me distracted). Mind you, I was completely sober. I immediately told the security and he became extremely aggressive with me and told me they hadn't found any phones. But how did he know??? It had JUST happened; he didn't bother to check. My best friend also got her phone stolen here twice, and curiously enough...as soon as she told the owner of the Patio that her phone was stolen, they immediately turned it off b/c it was on the last time she tracked it on find my iPhone. My phone was stolen from my jacket pocket while I was here as a designated driver and completely sober. There is something wrong going on here. I understand bars get crowded downtown on a Saturday night but the amount of people crammed into this place made it impossible to even get to an exit. If there was ever an emergency and the building needed to be evacuated people would be in trouble. The reason people are getting their things stolen isn't because they are too drunk to keep track of their them (which is the way the manager made it seem when I reported my stolen item)..its because this establishment is SO packed with people you have to fight your way across the building to get out of here, I didn't see a single security guard monitoring the crowds. I encountered quite a few outside who told me that people get their things stolen every weekend..It's obviously an on-going problem. My friend had her phone taken out of her zipped and sealed purse while attempting to get across the building on our way out. Management KNOWS there is a problem and has not implemented security measures or crowd control in order to stop theft..There are so many other fun places to go downtown, don't waste your money or risk your...

This is my favorite spot to go downtown. They never disappoint they always have a good dj and good drinks. Thursday nights is the best for me since I am unable to drink but it's 18+ and no cover so it's really fun. The bartenders are super cool and the staff is friendly. Since I am gay I really like this place they have foam from time to time, I only had one bad experience and it was last week when a guy was standing on the bench twerking and the security had told him to get down but two females did the same thing and no one stopped them. I understood because it's a straight club and not a gay club so I didn't bother me but hey I had a blast. I love this spot and if I ever go downtown it's on a Thursday to the patio because they never disappoint. Fridays are also fun but it's 21+ no cover but I got into because there's is this one Hispanic security man who lets me in but I pay him $20 and Fridays are so fun ! I won't give his name but he's skinny lol he's cool ! I like this club a lot and I will come until I can't...
