Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Oshkosh

( DQ on Taft) 1: The place should be remodeled it looks dirty and unflattering and the front doors are in basically in the drive through.

2: I ordered a bacon cheese grillanator without onions and tomatoes and a snickerdoodle cookie dough blizzard today ( I said it EXACTLY like that) and the lady looked around, got confused on what I said, then asked me what I wanted on it. She then said after I ordered the Blizzard, TWICE, "so cookie dough", even though I said a snickerdoodle cookie dough Blizzard multiple times and they gave me a Cookie Dough Blizzard instead of snickerdoodle one. Sorry I'm ranting, but I went there yesterday and the same lady was working and she just didn't seem like she was all there.

3: This place is understaffed, there were 4 people working, that I could see, today (Jan 18, 2019 and yesterday the 17th). The cashier left to go give food to someone else, no one came out for like 3 ish minutes, then a guy came out and took the next orders.. I kid u not the next person in line wanted the exact burger I got but with the normal stuff on his and as a combo, the cashier said "$5" and that was it. It took a good 4 minutes for the lady to ring in my order and 2 seconds for the guy to do it!!! I only go here because I don't have a car to go somewhere else, it's a block from my school, and I like ice...

I'm torn by today's experience. Love the ice cream. Great service. Food is well above average for "fast food". So it sounds like a 5 star experience....

HOLD ON A MOMENT. This is where it falls short....

We ordered 3 meals. After sitting I returned to the counter to ask for some tartar sauce and mayonnaise. The pleasant girl behind the counter said that it would be $.35. I said; "really" half expecting she was kidding. She wasn't. So I declined the condiments as I didn't want to run my card for a 35 cent transaction. PROBLEM 1

We had upgraded our meals to include Blizzards. We chose the option to get them at the end of our meal. We went up, after eating together, to get our desserts. My 9 year old asked his flavor and I asked for mine. She said that it would be an additional 30 cents. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! Was all​ that came to mind. I found 30 cents laying about and begrudgingly paid. This time however the girl realized I was not at all happy.

Basically the moral of the story: Enjoy DQ but remember to bring a pocket full of change cuz they are going to nickel and dime you...

This is the worst dq I've ever been to. Rude enployees who don't care to check the order or correct their mistakes. The enployees sounded disinterested and un friendly over the speakers. When we got to the window they gave us all of our items then closed the window without having us pay. We waited until they came back and paid. We informed them that they had given us the wrong blizzard, the enployee said "no that's your blizzard" even tho we had the receipt and blizzard right there. Very obviously not the blizzard that was on the receipt. Without apologizing or going to get a different enployee they closed the window. Our slushies where un-mixed as well. They didn't even think to say a greeting over the speakers or any form of "have a good night" like other restaurants and locations do, they just shut the window. These enployees lack discipline or respect and are very rude. They dont care to provide a quality service to...
