PART ONE : My party and I had come to enjoy a nice evening out . We got here at 7 pm. I went in to get a table. A male hostess with brown hair and a blonde girl did not even greet me but were speaking to each other . I greeted them & proceeded to ask for a table of 7. The male told me sorry we can't seat you. I said "oh why not ? " He just told me there was no seating at the moment and won't be. Another member of my party said they called & there were tables open. The waitress had then spilled our drink all over my partner and some on me. She just expressed she was sorry. This was honestly terrible because my partner had a meeting to attend soon. He was not going to stay the whole night. He ran to the bathroom to clean up his uniform . The waitress brought towels and napkins to try to clean up & I helped her. She offered an appetizer for the inconvenience as he spent the whole time 20 minutes cleaning and drying himself in the bathroom. I declined as I said he needed to leave very soon. She told me ok and apologized again and in light of the situation( I guess?) told me " good thing I didn't spill it ALLL " while chuckling. The drink was still half full but I asked her for a new one please as her finger had completely broken the lid and went into the drink. She said okay took the cup replaced the lid and just gave the same cup. My partner was gone by the time we ordered and got food. Everything came out about fine. Some soups / entrees were cold but we were starving having already waited 2 hours. Everyone began eating we got sides reordered for about 2 dishes just chicken that was cold or side pasta. Everything tasted great now! By this time a lot of us had food but no drink refills at all. After we ate my partner had returned. This was around 9:40 . The waitress didn't acknowledge him or approach him to get him anything bread , water , dessert as he had not been able to order and eat earlier. There was still the event going on with about 5 tables next to us that people were still ordering. She had said the kitchen will be closing soon . They were doing a drawing for a basket of some sort but also still getting food. When the bill came we noticed nothing was taken off but also unfortunately she didn't offer dessert for at least my partner that was still sitting with nothing . We also never saw a manager just to apologize for everything that happened. Having paid over $300 within our party a member of my party decided to approach the waitress as she had left the checks for 10 minutes & never came back to pick up anything or offer dessert menu. She then told the member of my party no one looked like they wanted dessert & also told me you said you didn't want anything & just said sorry she didn't recognize my partner next to me. The manager came over because she signaled him. By this time there were still other guests and he said They're closing they don't have anything even dessert available. He didn't seem sorry about anything and as I was speaking , he pulled out his wallet and waved it then pulled out 2 $5 dollar bills in my face. I was horrified as was the member of my party. He said "take it " I don't have anything else ." I was shocked this was how he was behaving in front of other guests and the kitchen staff and waitress. The waitress even lied and said " I only spilled a few drops". Which made the manger more confused. He angerily grabbed a to go bag told the kitchen staff to box a cake and told me "HERE." I was so stunned. I luckily was able to record part of this interaction because I really believed he was going to throw something at us. I believe Dan the manager...
Read moreA Disappointing Evening at "Carrabba’s Italian Grill Summer in the Valley June Wine Dinner in Winter Springs “June 3, 2025, 6:30pm seating.
Our recent visit to Carrabba’s Italian Grill was, unfortunately, a significant letdown. Having heard whispers of its supposedly 4-Course Summer Wine Dinner and innovative menu, my expectations were set for a memorable culinary experience. What we received instead was a perplexing series of missteps that left a sour taste.
As for the food, the "innovative" aspect translated into perplexing combinations that simply didn't work. Our first course appetizer, a bland lifeless salad with supposed “grilled” shrimp were chilled and flavorless “lemon strawberry vinaigrette” salad dressing was bland and minimal. The second dish was a cold spaghetti Carbonara with chilled scallops and were not grilled but cold to the touch. The third course was a Parmesan Crusted Sirloin. Although mentioning on the onset to our delightful server, requesting that my sirloin prepared well-done and it arrived lukewarm, and very rare. The server graciously brought it back to the kitchen and butterflied the steak, taking 10-15 minutes. My dining companions had already completed their meal, so I chose to box it up and wait for desert to arrive. The final course was the Limoncello Bread Pudding and turned out to be quite tasty, and warm. Although it wasn’t spread all over the plate and not organized in the dish but still had good flavor. The wait staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and unavailable at times when we decided not to comment about our challenges with the food.
The prices would have been fair if the quality of the food and service was better. Charging sixty dollars for each patron for a four-course meal seems fair for hot, well-seasoned food is understandable, but Carrabba’s Italian Grill Summer in the Valley June Wine Dinner in Winter Springs, offers neither. We left feeling thoroughly underwhelmed and frankly, quite ripped off. In a city brimming with several other dining options, Carrabba’s Italian Grill Summer in the Valley June Wine Dinner in Winter Springs utterly fails to justify its reputation or its quality and prices. I cannot recommend it and advise others to seek out establishments that deliver on their...
Read moreTo be honest i’ve been debating on leaving this review for a while but after multiple visits i can surely attest that the service across different servers here is vastly different. Nicole and Rick are the best servers at this location that i’ve had the pleasure of being served by. There’s two other ladies who i also love seeing here because the service quality is amazing by them (i’ve just forgotten their names but when i see them again i’ll definitely add them into this review).
Anyways, i’ve been coming to this location for almost 4 years and almost on a monthly basis, and today i’ve had my last straw at trying to come in outside of my favorite servers schedule because anyone else i’m placed with seems like they don’t care. My order is not hard or difficult by any means, and all i ask for extra dressing that’s it. Often times i don’t receive it, and then it takes 20 minutes for a server to come back around before i can even ask, and that’s even if i get to because sometimes a server won’t even come back around until it’s time for the check. Then there’s no refill on my water the entire time i’m there and today i was not feeling well and definitely wanted more water so when the check came around i had asked and was told it’d be right out, and it never came.
Meanwhile I’m watching a server serve a party of 5 who’s diligently going over the menu, asking questions and had refilled their water 3-4 times while i was there, always asking if they needed something, i wished i was sat in his section. So yeah had to walk over to the bar with my cup and ask for water and chugged it down before i left. Not like the restaurant and especially my section was busy at all during a monday afternoon. Also can’t forget the time i was seated in the back section towards the bar and for 20-25 minutes no one came over to greet me so i got up and asked to be seat elsewhere, and in no less than a minute did a server come and greet me as well as bring water and bread. If i didn’t have so many inconsistent interactions i wouldn’t be writing this review. Hate to be writing a review like this but if im having similar grievances almost every time i visit, nothing will change if i...
