The Brew Bridge — Restaurant in Owensboro

Do NOT go here unless you are looking for awful food and out of control drunks. When we placed our order for food the pretzel bites were so salty that they were unedible. Ordered chicken nachos due to a food allergy and received pork. We tried to sing karaoke but the DJ was unbelievably drunk. He kept on making random speeches, would not stay in order of the singer/song list, kept repeating himself over and over. At one point, there wasn't any music, just is drunken banter. He took a break from his obnoxious speeches to go to the rest room. At this time I looked out one of the gates and noticed him URINATING IN THE PARKING LOT! During this time he tried to put one of his "buddies" in charge but the music stopped and just ads were playing while he was going from table to table talking to random people. My friend waited 2 hours to sing one song and he was so drunk, he couldn't even find it. The whole place is considerably under staffed. In order to even get water you must go inside for a refill. We complained twice about the food and the unprofessional manner of the hired "DJ" and nothing was ever done. This is unacceptable and disgusting behavior for...

I was not impressed. I had high hopes and thought I was going to love it based on the small town feel. It was pretty clean and everyone was nice. However, it took 20 minutes just to get a menu and then another 20 to get our drinks from the bar (just draft beers mind you). When we went to order, they didn't have 3 of their 8 appetizers from the menu and they announced that right away. We assumed it was trouble with the supply chain; we were still slightly optimistic. When we went to order 1 of the 3 BBQ dishes, the waitress said they might not have any of the BBQ meat either. Since that was the main reason we came, we were ready to get up and leave. The waitress came back and said they did have smoked chicken. We both ordered the chicken, and it came out quickly. However, we were disappointed that the chicken simply tasted like rotisserie chicken from WalMart...good but not smoked.

Extremely disappointed for this visit!! Only our second visit but this visit totally opposite of first. First visit was great….great atmosphere, great food, and great service. Based on our first visit, we were anxious to get go again and took another couple to enjoy the restaurant.

Completely disappointed on our second visit!! Server totally ignored our being there. Not sure why but other tables seated in the same area received service and we never were able to place drink orders, let alone food orders. Even after complaining directly to our server did we get him to take our order. After waiting over 20 minutes to place drink orders, our party of four left!! No one said a word when we got up and left!!

Very disappointing…..we will not be back nor will the other couple with us, nor will we recommend this establishment to anyone.
