The employees at this store are some of the meanest, rudest, nastiest people I have ever interacted with. I think their manager is the worst one. She seems to be the manager anyway. She never greets anyone with anything less than a scowl and regularly tosses bags of food onto the counter to be picked up, without saying so much as a, “Here ya go!” or, “Have a nice day!” Half the time I’m not even sure if it’s the complete order.
The orders are never correct, either. They often sneak a chicken nugget into the jalapeño poppers if they don’t have 5 (a full order). Food items are almost always missing.
The fact that this establishment is still open is a testament to how much people are willing to put up with to enjoy Arby’s food. Any other restaurant or fast food place would’ve been shut down long ago if their employees behaved in a similar manner. Food options in Oxford are extremely limited, which unfortunately only works in their favor. All this means that the bar for excellence is extremely low.
But that doesn’t mean you have to put up with it. For your own sake, find somewhere else to eat in this town. Anywhere else. The way these employees treat you will put such a bad taste in your mouth that you won’t be able to...
Read moreArby's is Arby's. You have an idea of what to expect. I haven't gone here a ton, but the times I've swung by have left me in an interesting afterglow of satisfied but unimpressed.
The food isn't awful, usually. It's fine. You can tell it's standard chain restaurant frozen fair, but the preparation is often fine, and there's flavor to most of the things on the menu.
The staff seem hit or miss. I've interacted with some incredibly nice people in here, and others seem very disinterested in talking to or interacting with customers, and I feel like a burden for just ordering some chicken tenders. That being said, they've never been overtly rude or aggressive, which is good.
Arby's as a chain has gotten slowly more expensive over time, to the point where some of our little local Oxford eateries are honestly cheaper half the time.
I don't recommend going here, but it would be very dishonest to leave a scathingly-negative review. (given my experiences) It's alright.
As an aside, I also currently work in fast food. I sincerely doubt any of this is the management or employees' fault, and moreso the direction the chain is going. These people have to deal with a lot, and I don't blame them, even if I can't...
Read moreI've not had a bad experience at Arby's until door dash got involved so Arby's could deliver to individuals after covid shows up. There's alot missing from the menu the prices are way higher then the restaurant they either forget or they do not check the entire order before making the delivery so we've had plenty of orders not have a few items not make it, then there's the fact door dash will not make a trip back to you if you're missing anything but they wanna get paid in tips plus their delivery fee plus jacked up prices that ob+viously differ from the original menu and you cannot order the same items as if you were in the restaurant. #RECAP!!... OVER PRICED MENU, SEVERELY UNDER-RATED DELIVERY SERVICE,INCONVENIENT DELIVERY SERVICE, JUST ALL IN ALL A BAD EXPERIENCE IF YOU'RE WANTING DELIVERY. the restaurant itself is awesome always awesome.. I've better delivery service I've 20+...
