I went to order the 2 for $11 calzone deal online. Got a number higher than the $13.50 it should have been with delivery charge. Figured I'd call in to check it out. Talked to an employee about it, his total came up to over $16. Decided to tough it out and try online again, figuring it was the extra ingredients and it's not that much more money, oh well. Ordered two calzones, one with added bacon, ranch, spinach, and I changed the cheese (it was the only way on their website I saw to get the ranch IN THE SANDWICH, since there appeared to be no option to do so), the other with just added spinach. No problems there, it'll all show up on the receipt, so it should be easy to make--I worked for years at an actual restaurant which made and delivered pizzas, I know the drill with online orders. An hour later, I've heard nothing back except from the automated email service, saying that my order had been received. Figured I'd give them a call to check. Since I worked at a pizza place which did special promotions all the time, I knew that it would be a busy night and that my order would take a while, so I was not angry by any means at this point. Only after my order took 2 hours, the "manager", Beau, showing up to deliver my calzone, said manager getting impatient with me checking to see if everything was there and warm, me giving him a $5 tip because I know that rainy days as a driver can be stressful, and me finding that there is hot sauce on my girlfriend's calzone that we had not ordered was I even a bit upset. After I talked to the sad excuse for a manager, however, I was livid. The conversation went: "I wasn't supposed to have hot sauce on this calzone." "I'm not going to argue with you what comes on our calzones and what doesn't, the Cal Zombie has hot garlic butter." "Your website does not say that it comes with hot anything." "Yes it does, I know what's on our calzones, I'm not going to argue about it." At that point, I hung up, cut my losses, and ate my girlfriend's runny, grainy calzone, instead of my marginally less-disgusting calzone. Judging from the other reviews of this place, I can't say I'm surprised. Beau is apparently a horrid manager, the place is a wreck, and the food is only halfway-decent if you're smashed. I completely regret ordering from this place, and I only hope that others can learn from my mistake... and that my food wasn't dropped or spit on for calling in the first time. My advice is to go to the student center if you want a calzone, or Patterson's if you want a crepe. Both are better quality for about the same price, and you don't have to put money in the pockets of sleazy, aggressively incompetent business owners. Aside: These are screenshots from the website--which they actually RECOMMEND you use--including the menus where the Cal Zombie shows up, and the "detailed" view of the sandwich. Also, this was the website THEIR EMAIL linked to; apparently there is another website one can order from.

I wish there is a 0 star so I can rate this because the experience is way too bad. I waited for 50 minutes for the 2 things here. AND NONE OF THEM WERE CORRECT, ordered a fries with cheese and get fries only, ordered Musli crepe and get a Miami crepe :DDD Staff are super slow yet still chitchat a lot while working ^^ ?!! And it is not yet the first time I had to wait this long for an order :) Please consider wasting your time before going to this place.

They don’t wear mask meat terrible quality and apparently if you ask for a manager there are three of them. Will never eat here again everything was disgusting and worst customer service in Oxford. This is a picture of the bacon I received in my calzone but it really feels undercooked and more chewy than gum

Review from a previous employee: Worst "restaurant" in Oxford. The manager thinks that he should invest his money in new businesses rather than focusing on the dump that he already owns. If the fact that the manager at the age of 36 still lives with his mom doesn't deter you, the fact that the workers never clean the store should. Have we passed our health inspection? Not recently! It is more likely that you will contract Hepatitis from the bathrooms than getting thoroughly cooked food. No one wears gloves, workers drink on the job, and the drivers are always high af. Please help Doughby's go out of business and stop...
