After being awake over 48 hours at UAB St.Vincent's Hospital Downtown Birmingham, I decided on my (one hour & a half) ride back Home in Anniston that I would stop by Panera Bread in Oxford. I hadn't been in awhile. Too exhausted to go in. I ordered through the Drive Thru. I placed an Order for Two Chicken Salad Sandwiches on Sourdough Bread & Two Bags of Plain Potato Chips, Two Frosted Tulip Sugar Cookies & a Large Unsweet Ice Tea & add Splenda. It came to $29 & some change. My Order was Correct. When I got Home finally to Eat I opened My Sandwich to find several Tomato Slices that made my Sourdough Bread Soggy. There was Fresh Lettuce, Chicken Salad was ok, and of course my Favorite Pickle Spear all wrapped in Paper. Chips were fresh & delicious. Tulip Cookies are to die for. They are huge & beautifully Decorated in Spring Icing Colors with Soarkling Sugar Crystal's added for Decoration purposes. We'll worth the money. My Ice Tea though was a total different Story. They served me a Large Sweet Tea instead of Unsweetened Ice Tea & added my request of eight Splenda. That was horrible!! I had to pour it out. The lady at the Drive Thru could tell I was tired & asked me if I was OK? I told her no. I had been at the Hospital for Husband's Neck Surgery. She asked me if she could Pray for he & I. I said please do. I won't ever forget that experience. She was a very nice Employee. She was kind & considerate to what I had been Thru in the last 48 hours. I will come back but Order something...
Read moreI go to Oxford al panera everyday. I want to say this location is awesome. They have their drinks always stocked. The food is fresh. The employees are sweet and kind. The managers treat the employees good. The environment is very pleasant. I love it here! The resturant is clean. I am always greeted.
Today, I went to the Douglasville ga location, I'm sad that it did not have the same vibe as oxford al. The tea was not great. It had food floating in it.
Soon as I got back to Oxford, I went and got me another tea. It was great as always.
I nominate the Oxford al panera as the best! All the employees need an award for all their hard work because customer service/food service is not an easy job and big cooperations forget the smaller people such as the hard working employees that...
Read moreAfter visiting a number of Paneras in several different cities, I have to say this has been my favorite. I came here several times to work on an online class I'm taking, and found the service and employees here to both be great. I often stop at Panera when travelling because I like the atmosphere, but often I find that the coffee is old or not even hot. That was not the case here. It was always hot and fresh. The food was good too and they didn't seem to run out of items like some of the others do. Great location too. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 stars, whas because I had a hard time finding electrical outlets that I could use for my laptop. Many of the tables are closed due to covid, which is no...
