I am writing to let you know about our experience at your restaurant. I visited Chick-fil-A Riverpark Oxnard (#1) in Oxnard, CA, through the drive-through. When I placed my order at 5:55 PM, only two cars were in front of me. The cashier, Fernando, was great and returned my order to ensure it was correct.
When I pulled to the window, the employee asked me if my name was Laura. I corrected her and said that my name was. She informed me my order wasn't ready and asked me to park between the yellow cones a few feet before the drive-thru window.
Despite several cars receiving their orders, our orders were not ready after waiting about 15 minutes. Finally, the worker brought our order and apologized for the delay. She indicated they placed the wrong name on the order, which confused me since I had spelled my name as Fernando.
After working a 12-hour shift, I wanted to get home and feed my family. I assumed I didn't need to double-check my bag as I had already waited almost 20 minutes for my food. However, when I got home, I discovered that two of my sandwiches needed to be included, and I received three extra fries that I still needed to order. The food could have been warmer, which was a first. I have a family of six who spent almost $100 on food, which disappointed and dissatisfied us.
I am a regular guest at your restaurant, and this is the first time we faced such a problem. I wish you could determine where your team went wrong in providing regular quality food. Please take my points as feedback and try to improve the quality of your service. I have attached a copy of my receipt as proof of my purchase. I understand the level of traffic a fast food chain may have, but by no means does that permit and excuse terrible customer service and disrespectful behavior from an employee. As a corporate leader myself, I recognize a poorly skilled and underdeveloped employee from a mile away. Hiring manager, please do better at picking candidates that represent the brand and this company. **Darlene needs to polish her customer service and professionalism once she is on the clock. I have never been made felt so disrespected, and ignored as a customer. Chick Fil A employees every where have always outdone themselves with making their customer feel seen and taken care of. Not today, especially this being a brand new location in the Oxnard area by the collection at River park. I left without my food, and with this employee ridiculing and laughing, watching me leave frustrated. I waited and did not get assisted until everyone after me had received their orders. Mind you, I had pre-paid and my food was ready per the app. Because of the lack of urgency, ownership and efficiency, my daughter did not get her breakfast, as i had calculated my schedule this morning, and i arrived late to a work meeting. This could all have been avoided, i anticipated an easy pick up, and again, paid for my order ahead of time. She needs to be written up, or be evaluated and reconsidered for this position. FOOD STORAGE- COMMON NAME WORKING CONTAINERS OF FOOD REMOVED FROM THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING IS STORED IN UNLABELED CONTAINERS.
