I've Been coming to this Store since at least 2008 or 2009 maybe 2007 at the earliest. And the Staff have been good to my family and me. My mother past away last year. But the few times I brought her they were good to her and looked at her since she was hearing impaired and read lips. Plus my Brother is Special needs and they have been good to him and very patient. But from what I have seen that have been to all of their Customers with special needs which includes Different types of disabilities. And if you have food allergies and health conditions and they know about it because you have gotten close to some of the Staff they will let you know if a food or drink Items could be a problem. Plus the Staff know I carry a medical alert flash drive with my health conditions and information on what to do until paramedics show. Because I am an asthmatic and have come into their store a few times in the process of starting to have an attack. They know I use coffee first to try and Stop it even though I carry an emergency inhaler. Plus they knew I was Hypoglycemic for years and now am type two diabetic but still vulnerable to low blood sugar levels. On top of having anemia which I was diagnosed in 2009. So whether my asthma or something else they have gotten my meds into me. Or if they saw I was having low blood sugar they got some food into me right away to get me back to normal. Plus they Stayed cool and calm when a customer. Who is a family friend had an elliptic seizure and did what they could to protect his head. Plus the man doesn't have a voice box so has to use a device to talk. Which ment they where ablend to provide his medical and insurance information to the paramedics when they show and the one time I was their for one of his seizures it was bad I tell and feel it and it scared me. Because as someone who had an elliptic step grandmother and went to school with some school mates with epilepsy and fought for dear life for one on a moving bus and yelling for the driver to pull over and won't listen and you are trying to to protect yourself and your friends head you can get quite angry when they don't take things seriously. Because a life is on the line. Sure I know not all the staff is the best but those that don't get it don't last long. In fact they have a woman on their Staff now who is deaf and she is really good she has been hearing for about a year now. And If I remember I mom met her once before she pasted and they communited with ASL. But other wise usually one barista would take the order and write it down and she would fill it. And two employees I have know the longest hear are Matthew and Sean. In fact I remember having one of my attacks with breathing and my mug was on top of my bag he grabbed it and made my coffee in a hurry and got it to me without asking so I could drink it to, open my airway. And Considering he has asthma too he understood plus he has used coffee to for treating his own Asthma. In fact If I remember right at least two of the Staff have asthma. Plus one of the Staff Sean lives not to far from me. In fact he even offered to take me home in an emergency if it was close to when he was to go off duty. Or I got a call that I need to go to one of the Hospitals because of mom or dad. Since I don't drive...
Read moreI went to in this branch this morning, because it was really close to where I work and my manager asked me if I could get him a caramel macchiato, so I did in my uniform. It wasn't that busy at that time i went, when it was my turn to order, the cashier, (I didn't get to see anybody's name, they weren't wearing badges) and me had a friendly conversation, it was going great, she took my order and I specifically told her I wanted a hot grande caramel macchiato, and 2 caramel frapp with extra caramel on both. I thanked her for her service and step aside to wait for my order. At this point, the barista, a chunky lady, she has her curly hair tied, not wearing any apron, was rushing to do all the orders waiting ahead of me. When she finished making my hot macchiato, in a very rushed and rude way, she slammed the drink in the counter and says "here, that's yours!" I looked at her, confused of why I got the treatment. I ignored it and patiently waited for my other order, when she was doing both of the 2 frapp they she wasn't putting any extra caramel on them when I specifically asked. I simply asked her, "im sorry, is that extra caramel?" She turned to me, looked at the cup and rudely said, "it doesn't say here you want extra caramel" and then dodged me out. I replied "im sorry but I want extra caramel on them." She sighed and loudly remarked "oh, god!" The cashier handed her another cup and rudely re-do my coffees, slammed the cups, whatever she grabs, slammed. I was furious! She was terribly rude! I worked in customer service and I fully understand of how it works but the way she treated me was unacceptable, and I am sure right now she remembers me for I was wearing my uniform. After that i said in enough tone of voice, "rude." She put my cups on the side and finished other peoples orders after me, so for the whole 20mins I was waiting for her to do my coffees! I kept asking myself if I ever offended her that the service was so awful, but I can't think of any reason why. When she finally did my frapps and yelled "here!" I didn't see any manager around nor the other workers do anything about this incident, I left the store upset, frustrated, and so mad. I didn't know asking for extra caramel for my coffees was such a hassle for her that she treated me bad. I am a loyal customer of starbucks for 10yrs. And this is the first time I had a horrible experience. She needs to be more educated on customer...
Read moreI've had several unfortunate experiences from horrible attitudes to mobile drinks getting stolen to them forgetting to make my order and having to wait over 15 min. Still I've remained patient with the staff as I am fully aware of how busy it can get and how overwhelmed they must be however this incident really topped it for me. Ordered 2 drinks through the mobile app on Oct. 2nd later in the evening. I am not aware of their hours so I assumed if the mobile app is active then I am free to pick up my order inside, not to mention there had been a man at the door receiving his by an employee so I assumed they were open.. When I walked up to the door and attempted to open it, it was locked. There was about 5 employees who watched me confused and all looked away ignoring me, pretending as if they did not see me at the door. After them noticing I did not leave (because my drinks were already paid for I was not going anywhere) one employee pointed toward the other door so I assumed she was saying to use other door, walked over and she mouthed "drive thru", that is when I began to get frustrated with them because I thought it was very unprofessional to ignore a customer, as a supervisor I would have walked up and explained to the customer our store hours and how we were closed but I would be happy to hand you your drink through the drive thru, but that was not the case. Instead they all pretended they did not see me hoping I would go away. As I am explaining this to the employee at the drive thru the girls in the back are laughing and making remarks about the situation. Supervisor claims she made an exception to the man as he was in a semi and it would not fit through the drive thru however he was not in a semi, it was a van.. The entire situation could have been prevented had they just used proper customer service etiquette. If they are unhappy with their employment and are not capable of ensuring positive interactions then they might have chosen the wrong career path. Writing this review in hopes this reaches the appropriate person and they can remind their staff to do better and be...
