Colette’s Ice Cream — Restaurant in Pacific Grove

I love y’all, I love your ice cream, the strawberry in particular is amazing. I’m glad you all have opened up a quality ice cream shop in PG, it was desperately needed. That being said, I think businesses need to be reliable and dependable in order to succeed. If you have your hours of operation set to be open until 8pm and we show up at 7:35 and doors are closed during peak summer hours you lose that perception of credibility. My wife and I want to support our local shop, but I can’t be thinking in my head “they are open until 8 o’clock so we need to get there by 7:15 to make sure the doors aren’t closed” after working a 9 to 5. I hope this turns around, I’d love to update my review.

Amazing and awesome! Friendly and welcoming. The ice cream quality and ingredients is top notch! They care about what goes into crafting their product and it shows. The coffee almond fudge ice cream is fantastic. The coffee flavor is so good and the whole candied almonds fresh. The minty chip is perfection. Wife said the pistachio and the coconut cream flavors really good too. This place is walkable for us so yay but no matter where you live they are worth the drive!! Just had my first visit to Colettes ice cream, I had the chocolate brownie but there were soo many flavors to choose from. My partner got the blue "cookie monster" ice cream. Both flavors were fabulous and I will definitely come back! They are having their soft opening at the time I am writing this and I noticed they are working on a to-go freezer, I hope to see take-home pints in it soon!
