If you’re in the mood for a meal that’s as refined as it is flavorful, Wild Finch is a must-visit. Nestled in a modern, upscale setting, the restaurant strikes the perfect balance between contemporary elegance and cozy hospitality.
On a recent visit, I had the pleasure of enjoying a rare Wagyu steak—seared to perfection with a buttery texture that melted in my mouth with each bite. The steak was tender, juicy, and beautifully marbled, making every bite an experience. Paired with it was a side of grilled vegetables, drizzled in a luscious tahini sauce that was creamy with a hint of smokiness, perfectly complementing the richness of the steak.
For the seafood lovers, the red snapper is an absolute highlight. The fish was flaky and fresh, prepared with the right balance of seasoning that enhanced its natural flavors without overpowering them.
What really elevated the experience was the service. Morgan, our server, was not only friendly but knowledgeable, offering great insights into the menu and pairing suggestions that felt spot-on. The attentive yet relaxed style added a personal touch to the whole dining experience. Michele, behind the bar, crafted cocktails that were as impressive as the food, offering a delightful drink pairing that complemented our meal perfectly.
From the moment we walked in, Lexi, the hostess, greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm. Her fun and welcoming demeanor set the tone for the evening, making us feel right at home from the start.
The restaurant’s modern decor and upscale ambiance make it perfect for both special occasions and a sophisticated evening out. Whether you’re indulging in a Wagyu steak, exploring the fresh seafood, or enjoying a well-crafted cocktail, Wild Finch delivers both in flavor and...
Read moreAs locals, we’ve been to Wild Finch more than a few times now. Everytime we have been treated with the friendliest and top notch customer service. Special thanks to Halsey, Morgan, Anthony, and honestly every member of the team we’ve met. We like the ambiance because it has a bright, open and modern feel. It doesn’t feel too crowded like a lot of the restaurants in town, and there is ample parking. When it comes to food, we’ve tried several items from the menu. First, don’t skimp, and get the bread and butter. The butter is delicious and sourdough can’t be beat. Next, we love to get the Summer salad, which feature beautiful heirloom tomatoes, goat cheese and squash blossoms. Next, for main course or favorites have been the steak frites and the duck. Again, remember to not skimp. The dessert is unique and also delicious. My favorite is the Campfire Girl. On special occasions, they have treated us to a fun surprise dessert, which is a whimsical throwback to childhood but I won’t spoil the surprise. To be honest, there are a few menu items that weren’t our favorites but each time the staff asked for honest feedback and we were able to have a friendly and constructive dialogue about why. It’s good that they care and are always looking to improve!
Not to be forgotten, is their selection of wine, spirits, AND plentiful non-alcoholic selections. My favorite NA drinks are the Pagosa Collins and Sprinkles. Also, we’ve tried a few regular cocktails and wines here, that we haven’t seen anywhere else in town. We will continue to go back, and would...
Read moreThis restaurant is primed for some great food. The food was good, but for the only restaurant with fresh food on property it could be more approachable. Everything was cooked perfectly, but I had to google so many things on the menu I felt like even that made it less approachable/appealing. I gave some consideration as to what maybe I would have felt more comfortable. Maybe explain what the sauce is in the description on the menu. Maybe tell servers to offer to sample the sauces to the guests. (Our server helped when she saw us on google but even still taste is so specific) Maybe expand the menu just a bit to include small tasting portions. (I would have paid the same for a taste of this and that it was hard to choose from a whole array of things I’m not familiar with) maybe offer one thing for people who are looking for something easy and casual/local. Maybe during the day it could be a breakfast place with a more approachable menu as well. Maybe add one thing for kids, just one. The service was good, and the location is prime, and the menu needs just a bit of improvement. If it wasn’t the only fresh food on property I may not have had so much feedback. It seemed a bit out of context for...
