I mean it's a McDonald's. We know what it is, it's food that we've known for years since most people were born at this time, having said that I think that the quality of the food has diminished over the years. For reasons that I would think would be cost, and stock value. I think McDonald's has totally lost that original reason of inventing the system of fast food. I think that because the original owners sold out and when the corporations took over and made it into what it is today we the people lost out on a fantastic invention that was supposed to be good while tasty food at a low price. The stuff they use to make them meet I'm sure is tentative at best. And having said that the quality has gone downhill ever since. I think that of McDonald's wakes up and says hey we can still make this good quality food and cost an extra dime to do it then the people will get at least a little better quality food and not cost any much more than what it is today. The profit margins have skyrocketed it so much because of the cuts in quality and cuts and pay, and cuts in service and amenities that other smaller franchises are Out doing McDonald's and every way. Having said that this particular restaurant is focused primarily on drive-thru only. If you are a walk-up customer to the counter I think you will find that service is, well non-existent, and you are overlooked greatly. They are focused on their drive-thru and I know this because when I arrived they drive through line was stacked deep so I walked in and the car that was last in line got their food and left before I received mine. And I was the only one in line. A few more stragglers came in after me but I stood in line for a good 7 minutes before I was even approached to place an order. After that it took at least another 12 to 15 minutes to receive my order. Finally when I did receive the order it was incorrect so I didn't even bother returning, I called them on the phone told them of my experience and was told that they would take my name and the next time I come up they would replace my item for free. It took and I kid you not 30 minutes in the restaurant at that time that I returned to receive my free item which was very simple two quarter pounders of cheese extra onions. At least 30 minutes! Arguing over the fact that I made the phone call and whom I spoke to which is a manager and was told that she would take my name and write it down after they searched and searched for this information it was never written down, I don't believe them but kind of sort of do because I really don't think the manager took the effort to write my information down. If you go expect what you're paying for, and check your food before you leave. Best advice I can give to anyone. And don't waste your time going inside unless you plan on hanging out for quite a bit. Overall experience was poor but the food itself, if it were not incorrect, was what you expect from McDonald's poor quality soft and mushy and lots of gristle. Read moreI wonder if corporate is seeing these reviews... My husband and I were at this McDonalds last night and although it is the closest to our home will probably not be back. We arrived about 6:00 PM. The restaurant had about 15 people in it: 10 seated, four or five standing waiting for food, and cars in line. Staff (or I should say one staff member) was running around filling orders in the restaurant trying to appease a customer, while staff behind the counter were looking dazed (looking around like not knowing what to do). One employee was talking and drinking from a cup and shouted "I hate you!" so all could hear. Could have been in jest, could have been mimicking someone else, whatever, but sure got everyones attention...all while drinking her beverage. Manager was filling an order, staff in the back were still dazed, and one girl was still saying to make things better. The soda station was a mess: no cup lids just the ones people had removed from the dispenser and left on the counter, ketchup all over, soda all over, floor was sticky, and upon returning home BOTH LARGE sodas were completely flat. LARGE fries were 3/4 full. When we walked out I said to my husband, "This is why people drive across town to Chick Filet!...clean courteous, and Christian attitude." Read moreWell this is going to be a wild ride so buckle up. I was refused service at this location today because of what happened the last 2 days. Yesterday which was August 21 I told an employee that they were incompetent because the proceeded to give me a cup for my 5 year old with no gloves on after using chemicals and not washed her hands. I also told the manager which was watching this transpire incompetent for allowing it to happen. The day before this happened the same employee rang up my order through the drive through but charged me $31 for a $6.74 order because she was to worried about talking to a fellow employee and not paying attention to her job. I then had to wait about 20 minutes to get the refund and have the manager charge my card the correct amount.
