Decent Selection, but No Return Policy is Frustrating

My husband recently visited Palm Desert Hobbies to pick up some fun gifts for my kids. The store has a great selection of items for someone that’s really into RC cars and other stuff, and the staff seemed knowledgeable about their inventory.

However, I was disappointed to learn that the store has a strict no-return policy. This is particularly frustrating for hobbyists who might accidentally purchase the wrong item or find that a product is defective. While I understand that small businesses might have different policies to manage costs, it would be more customer-friendly to allow returns or at least exchanges for unused and unopened items.

If you’re shopping here, double-check your purchase before leaving the store. Overall, it’s a decent place for RC cars, but the return policy might make me think twice before...

Visiting from out of town and needed a few parts to get my Traxxas Slash rolling again. My usual hobby shop in my hometown didn’t have these parts in stock before I left so I didn’t have much hope.

Went in and they had everything I needed in stock. Gentleman was very nice and helpful. Talkative and knowledgeable but not pushy. Even shared info about access the local RC track.
