We visit the Palm Desert area annually for our church’s marriage getaway weekend. In 13 years, this was the 1st time a few friends of ours had recommended we stop by Brandini’s for the most delicious toffee confections on the planet. We had just come from breakfast at Wilma & Frieda’s and were literally across the street from their Palm Springs boutique store. While we still want to visit their production line/showroom in Rancho Mirage, the Palm Springs location had enough items for us to spend our money on. We picked up 6-pack samplers of both their candy and their popcorn. We were greeted and provided the best hospitality from Steven. He took really great care of us! He was friendly, funny, informative, and really made us feel welcome while we were there. Steven was pro-law enforcement, and it was great to be appreciated whenever we’re thanked for serving & protecting our communities. three stars because the chocolate separates from the toffee so it's very messy to eat and can't really be served to guests. (product is the same thing is almond Roca only almond roca is shaped differently so the chocolate doesn't fall off straight away.)
I think it's a bit pricey for what you get, another reason for the three stars. a very small bag of popcorn was about 14 bucks. perhaps if there were nuts added it would be understandable to charge that much money for popcorn, sugar and butter.
