What a beautiful new gem in Palm Springs! The space feels like an elegant extension of Colony Palms—lots of gorgeous wood and gold finishes, modern furniture, and a cozy, elevated vibe that’s instantly inviting.
Kate is incredible—so attentive and personable. She really added to the experience and felt like part of the atmosphere the restaurant is creating. She’s mentioned her name many time times, but we remembered her instantly. We had the charcuterie board and a wine pairing, and everything was spot-on. The presentation was stunning, attention to details is incredible.
Things I appreciated most: The music wasn’t too loud. You can actually talk and enjoy your time without shouting over a playlist. It’s such a rare and welcome detail, especially in a town full of buzzy new spots. I ordered a kale Caesar, and they had run out of kale, so it came with a bit too much dressing and needed more greens. But the team handled it so smoothly—polite, professional, and genuinely kind—that it didn’t affect the experience at all. The chef personally came out and thanked me for the opportunity to make it right - this goes a long way in these trying times.
So happy to see a place like this open in PS. It’s beautiful, low-key, and already feels like a new favorite. I’ll definitely be back.
P.S. They packed up the rest of our charcuterie so thoughtfully—everything neatly boxed and still looking gorgeous. Happy to say it turned into the most fabulous midnight snack in bed… because only in Palm Springs do you end the night in silk pajamas with a glass of rosé and a perfect bite...

I chose Canopy as a prestop to a Christmas party so my partner and I could have a small bite and imbibe in a glass of wine prior. Decor is sophisticated Palm Springs with great artwork on display. Service is friendly and attentive. Tables are too high for the seating. Our food choices had mixed reviews. Unfortunately, this experience was disrupted by the annoying theatrics of toddlers and the adults who brought them there. They chose to run about the restaurant , use the unoccupied tables and lovely seating banquets as their playground for the extent of time we were there. I was shocked not only by the infantile display of a grown man crawling after a toddler along the banquet at one point, but that management was cognizant of this rampant behavior yet neglected to intervene. I would expect this at Denny's, not a wine bar where a $30 glass of wine is spent in a romper room. I did address this with our server who was nonplussed. Needless to say, I was disheartened and disappointed in my first experience for the monies spent. I may try it on another occasion as long as I do not see...

We enjoyed the Grand Diplomat Rosé, which was fresh, fruity, and perfectly balanced. Even the small bites were incredible — and I have to say, as someone who usually skips olives, the black olives here were amazing!
