Don't ever order a pork chop from here. I had a horrible experience yesterday. When I initially ordered my meal I requested that my chop be slightly under (because pork chops get dry really fast) but when I received it, it was very dry. (I only cut into the chop once...didn't eat anything) I told my waiter and he said that when he picked up the order, that he thought it might be over. So when he brought out the next one (Just to let you know it took a good 20 min later) my waiter asked me to cut it to make sure this one was good. I did, but this one was straight up raw, like fresh from the fridge completely raw. When I cut it open the waiter said it was totally raw and would make me sick and took it back. Fast forward 20 more minutes....my friend is eating dessert, I have had my salad.....My waiter comes by asking if I had received my food. No, I had not....come to find out my refire was sent to another table. And as a bonus the pork chops were sold out. The waiter was extremely apologetic and tried multiple times to fix what was happening in the kitchen. The waiter requested to have the manager come to talk to me (when I found out the pork chops were "gone") I told the waiter and manager that I just wanted to pay and leave with the chop taken off the bill. But they suggested I order something else so I ordered a ribeye. To my dismay, the manager brought out another pork chop....I guess a hidden one?....that was way overcooked again. At this point I was literally having an anxiety attack. I said please charge me whatever I just want to leave! I can't emphasize how amazing my waiter was....The manager was rude, disrespectful and only took off the food I didn't eat....after an hour of pork chop drama. The manager was a POS....talked down to me, was rude and a real jerk. I give a 5 for the waiter and a 1 for the manager. Don't order a pork chop. They can't...
Read moreWe were there on Saturday evening for dinner with our friends. We were a party of 6 including a toddler. The whole experience started on the wrong foot. We get to our table to be seated and it is still dirty from the previous dinner party. They have us wait and watch while they clean it up and get rid of the dishes. Our server comes and asks if we’re ready for some drinks but we don’t have menus. Of the 5 of us, the menu wouldn’t load on our phones so we asked for menus. Our server brings us ONE for all of us. We order drinks and appetizers and she says she’ll be right back with the drinks. She brings us waters and leaves again. About 15 minutes go by and she brings 2 of the 5 drinks. Another 10 mins go by and she brings 2 more drinks and she leaves again. She comes back about 5 minutes later with a juice for my toddler and when my husband asks about his beer she laughs and says they sold out and that she was gonna mention it but forgot. He orders a different beer and she takes her time to bring that one too. In the meantime, we’re still waiting on our appetizers. Another 15 minutes go by and our entrees start coming out while we’re STILL waiting for our appetizers. We all get our food and have to ask for cutlery and napkins because our server didn’t give us any to begin with. Once we’re almost done eating we jokingly say “watch they bring out our appetizers finally” and sure enough, out come the appetizers. Our server came by once to ask if everything was ok but never once asked if we needed refills or anything else. We kept having to flag her down and ask her for things which she took her sweet time to bring for us. At the end of the dinner she offered to comp us ONE pizzookie for such horrible service. If I had to base my choice to go back off of this one time, we’d definitely NEVER go back. This was seriously the WORST server and service we’ve ever...
Read moreWe just had a horrible experience at BJs in Palmdale. We have always loved going here. They called us to be seated and then gave away our table even though we went straight to the front desk when called. Our waitress was obviously new and didn’t know what she was doing. It took 50 minutes to get our drinks. We asked where our drinks were a couple of times after 35 minutes and asked for a manager who then took his time coming over. Our food came first and in the search for drinks our food disappeared. When it came back it was 15 minutes later and it was all cold. We asked for the manager and some dude that didn’t look like a manager came over and blamed everything on us! And the fact that he didn’t have enough bar tenders. But everyone seated after us had their drinks and food!!! The drinks were not done correctly . One was not drinkable. This was a birthday party and BJs ruined it for us and then didn’t bother to apologize or try to make it up in any way. Very rude. Very disrespectful. We won’t be going back sadly, because we have enjoyed BJs in the past. We have been loyal customers and got treated with total disrespect. There are many places in the Antelope Valley that want our service and will serve us properly. If I could rate this experience zero stars I would.
Although BJs management posted a nice sounding sort of apology here they never did get back to me like they promised. And after reading lots of other reviews it appears that this is standard procedure for BJs. They appear to not care about their customers and think they can treat them poorly with no ramifications. Well customers will vote with their dollars and we will take our dollars elsewhere after this...
