To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an incident that occurred at your Palmdale location of Pier 88, involving your staff and management.
On [08/31/2025, of incident], I was injured while visiting the restaurant due to a blocked walkway that should have been clear for customer access and safety. The obstruction directly caused me to get hurt.
After the incident, I approached the manager, Devon, to notify him of what happened and express my concern about the unsafe conditions. I also spoke with another manager, Kim, as well as a waiter who witnessed or was aware of the situation.
To my surprise and disappointment, Manager Devon responded with an extremely dismissive attitude, stating, “Oh well, that’s not my fault.” When I explained that the walkway should not have been blocked and that the injury could have been avoided if proper safety measures were in place, he again replied with indifference, saying “Oh well,” with no attempt to investigate, apologize, or offer assistance.
This kind of response is unacceptable and shows a lack of care for customer safety and basic professionalism. As a customer who was hurt in your establishment due to what appears to be negligence, I expected at the very least a sincere concern and a willingness to address the issue.
I am requesting the following: • A formal apology for the way the situation was handled by management • Confirmation that proper safety measures and employee training will be reviewed and implemented to prevent future incidents • Documentation of the incident for your records
Please take this matter seriously. I am considering further steps if I do not receive a timely and appropriate response.
Sincerely, Monique Date...
Read moreWent to this place for father in laws birthday. They all have a nag for eating seafood i personnally cant eat it due to food allergies. I ordered the chicken tenders with plain french fries with out having a single concern for myself and two treat old daughter. We order from seafood resturaunts all the time and i never have an issue with cross contamination. I took one bite of my chicken and my throat started to close i asked the waiter if this was made in a seperate oil. She came back to tell me everhthing is made in the same oil. I asked to speak with a manager as by now i can no longer feel my toungue. Instead of asking if i was ok or anything she said im required to tell them if i had a food allergy. I proceed to ask where is the notice that you guys cross comtaminate food for people with allergys. She failed to provide this information. Then four of her other employees chimed in saying how much it is my fault by this time i needed to get to theER. Still no "can we get u water, call an ambulance?" nothing! Then was asked to wait for the number to corporate. I called the number given and then it went straight to voicemail. Now i am blocked by said number.... called the resturant after the er visit for the number again same manager "viv" told me she doesnt have their number. Staff was particullary rude i couldnt believe not one of them.asked if i was ok just wanted to place blame. When a life threatning emergency...
Read more5 stars. Anything less would be an insult. Me and my girl were told we were going to wait an hour and a half. This is on Valentines Day, by the way, with no reservation. We decided to stay, as we expected everywhere else to be similar. We got seated in 30-45 minutes. Definitely beats 90. They were absolutely packed, and even so, the food quality was downright fantastic. My food was very hot upon arrival, along with my girls. Everything was seasoned well and amazing to eat. We also ordered an appetizer of Mozzarella sticks, which the cheese LITERALLY stretched across the table. It doesn't get much better than that. The server, whilst being a bit uninformed on crab breaking utensils, managed to chock it up using humor, which was worth more to me, in my opinion. I prefer my hosts/ hostesses to act like people over robots, so humor was very much welcomed. The drinks were also a bit slow, but given how busy they were, they came out in a timely manner and were delicious. They are a bit on the strong side, but I'm never one to complain about stronger drinks. Quite the contrary, I prefer them. This is my 2nd time experiencing the culinary wonderment that is Pier 88, and I can promise you one thing, I will DEFINITELY be...
