Would give zero stars since I wasn’t even able to get any food. My boyfriend took me here to surprise me since I get cravings for sauerkraut. It was a Sunday afternoon and while there were some customers, there was only about 4 tables with people so from a former servers standpoint, dead. The woman that worked there immediately acknowledged us to tell us very rudely that it was going to be a couple of minutes. I was still looking the menu over so other than her attitude I was fine with it. 6 minutes pass I’ve already decided what I want and a man walks in behind us that was apparently a grub hub driver grabbing a order for delivery. The woman IGNORES us and starts handling the order for the man BEHIND us….fine, because my wonderful boyfriend tried to surprise me with something I would love I decided to stick it out one more time. She finishes the to go order, then she grabs a couple of dirty plates and goes to the end of the counter and starts very slowly scraping the food off into the garbage can with a spoon with zero acknowledgment to us. (I’ve been a server, when you pre bus a table and have new customers waiting you set the dirty dishes by the garbage can, wash your hands and help the customers) It’s been 9 minutes at this point and glaringly obvious to not only us but everyone else in the restaurant that already looked angry at this woman, she’s not planning on serving us…AT ALL. We finally walked out totally defeated and hungry. We took our business to Habit down the street and were blown away by the difference in hospitality and were so happy we left a tip. We will not be...
Read moreMy husband and I visited for the first time on a Saturday morning around 9:30 AM. When we arrived, we were the only guests, which made sense since they had just opened at 9:00. A man and woman were inside. The man asked if we were picking up or ordering, and I replied, “We’d like to eat in.” He then pointed to a tablet on the counter where we were to place our order.
After ordering, we noticed all the stools were still stacked on top of the tables. I hesitated, expecting someone to set up seating for us, but that didn’t happen, so my husband and I took the stools down ourselves. The sunlight was very bright at the tables, so we moved to the bar counter instead.
The man working asked about our drinks and explained that the soda machine wasn’t ready yet since they had just opened, offering canned sodas instead. While I understand we were there within the first half hour of opening, I feel that being ready for customers is an important part of running a business.
We ordered breakfast burritos, which came out quickly and were generous in size with good flavor. However, the music was very loud for a morning setting — not really my preference, though perhaps that’s the vibe they’re going for.
Overall, the food was decent, but the customer service felt lackluster, and I didn’t feel especially welcomed. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one missed the mark. I prefer to spend my money at places where both the food and the service are good. I...

This review is unfortunately, a long time coming. The quality from a few years ago to now has declined to below fast food grade quality.
I've had Doghaus at multiple locations all over SoCal over the past 10 years and it has been amazing. One of my favorite burger spots of all time. But slowly over time, the quality declined. They started using cheaper meats, smaller portions, etc. I put up with it and just blamed it on covid and I guess "it's hard out here for everybody."
But Today was the last straw. I got a hangover and soo Cali dog for pickup. Half my burger was damn near raw, and the soo Cali hot dog was very clearly the cheapest frank they could find in the meat section at food 4 less.
These hotdogs used to be very high quality, and if I can tell it's cheap on the first bite, something is very wrong here. I've also never gotten a raw burger before so that definitely pisses me off too that I wasted my money on half a burger.
It also places into question the quality of everything else. If they don't even care to cook the meat properly, what else are they skimping out on?
Quality has gone down to or even below fast food grade. And no, putting crap meat in a Hawaiian roll doesn't make it any better. ESPECIALLY at these prices.
Definitely won't be coming back here to waste my money again. Time to find a new favorite burger spot....
