San Fernando Coffee Company — Restaurant in Palmdale

This was my third and it's my final visit. I said to myself "third times a charm!" And boy was I wrong!

Today, I walked in and there was only one person ahead of me to order. However, there were a few people waiting for their orders. I can tell because their focus was towards the counter and they all look unhappy. Well, today I ordee the breakfast burrito with avocado and sausage... I actually enjoy it; this is why I decided to return today. Unfortunately my burrito came out 20 mins after I ordered which isn't too bad, but my coffee was ready about 5 mins after ordering. So, my issue is the coffee. I ordered a large hot horchata latte with 2% milk and I asked for it "less sweet". Well, this latte taste awful! It taste like hot sweet milk. Nothing like coffee and nothing like horchata. This is the third time they make my coffee water down and extremely sweet. Not sure if the coffee is the issue or the barista. I will now drive myself to Starbucks and order a shot of espresso to make my horchata latte worth consuming. I spent a total of $25 for a large latte and a burrito... No thank you!!! I wish your company well and hopefully you guys can work on your coffee. The last two times I ordered different coffees. The first time I ordered a hot mocha latte; it was literally hot chocolate. Too sweet 🙃 the second time I ordered a large abuelita iced latte; it tasted like sweet cold milk.

Came in early in the morning around 7:45. Wasn’t busy yet but as we sat and worked on some things it did get busy around 8:30 so keep that in mind if you’re planning on stopping by.

Now the actual food & drinks: I wasn’t impressed. I ordered a medium horchata latte and a Nutella croissant. The coffee was super sweet. Noted flavored lattes typically are sweet but honestly I wasn’t able to taste the coffee. Just the sugar. I’m unsure if you can order things half sweet or not but if you can then definitely do that. As for the Nutella croissant it was soft but super dry. It feels like it sucks the moisture right out of your mouth. I took maybe three bites then ended up tossing it. Also didn’t taste an ounce of Nutella. They have other breakfast items available like bagels and burritos so maybe the croissants just aren’t the best thing to order.

Ultimately, I just think for the price you’re paying the taste and quality isn’t there. Service was good so that’s why I gave it...

Didn’t try any food. Inside, people waiting for drinks sat at the hand full of tables, so some customers stood to eat. I ordered a hot chai tea latte.. asked for nonfat milk and they don’t offer that. I asked for my drink to be extra hot and was told the temps are pre set by the machine. Literally, my tea was luke warm and didn’t have much chai flavor. Ordering is next to the blenders so it’s pretty loud & I had a soft spoken cashier. It’s priced pretty much the same as Dutch Bros but has more food options. I had never heard of SFCC before so I thought I would give it a try. Ended up taking my drink home and adding chai concentrate to it and heating it to make it hot. Not the best 1st time experience but at least the people working were nice and I didn’t have to wait too long...
