Unpleasant stay! Smoke coming from the room adjoined mine at 6am reported multiple times to staff and because inspection of hall did not show this I was made to feel as if it weren’t so. It wasn’t until several requests and hours later a gentleman was sent to my room his comment being “o yeah I smell it a little bit under the cologne”. You don’t say? I requested a room change as a result and was denied. Ivory from housekeeping made it a point to intervene as I consulted reception unnecessarily saying “we’re not going to change your room sorry”. When contacted by the assistant manager Adrian via phone call to my room I was spoken down to and offered nothing more than comp points that will never be utilized for I would never patronize this hotel again! When I encountered Adrian in person at the front desk she was rude uptight high strung as if ready for action had I said the wrong thing so I made sure my manners were minded. When asked why she were addressing me so abrasively she said” this conversation is over go to your room pack your stuff and leave”. Upon check out the hotel made it a point to up-charge me for incidentals to spite me. When I contacted them regarding the charges I was denied contact with the general manger three times. When contact with the general manager Michelle Marquez was finally made after fourth attempt she too were rude and abrasive no mention of my complaint only her insistence of refusal to refund my incidentals. No proof of the charge afforded me upon request I was told “ youre welcome to dispute the charges with your credit card company and we will provide proof to them”. Michelle wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise. Unbeknownst to her I were audio recording the call and when mentioned mid conversation she continued on her tyrant with no regard. Michelle remained unprofessional and unbothered ending the call by hanging up in my face! My room was cleaned mediocre hair everywhere including clogging the shower drain. There’s no linen for sofa sleeper ( which had pink questionable stains) in room you must call for it. The floors were not walkable without covering due to debris that soiled my family and I’s feet. The hotel acoustics were poor and my party and I were subjected to the guest overhead’s noise and stomping. The hotel location was prime. There’s plenty of free parking. Breakfast included a variety of choices ( not enough bowls!) and full gym which I appreciated. The hotels decor chic upscale and to be admired. Too bad the hotel staff does not...
Read moreThis is the review of my stay given in a survey after I left with my family and moved to another location:
Well first off the carts you have to get people into their rooms was the first joke. Too small. It took two trips to get two sets of luggage into the room. They don't hold very much and are frustrating to use when you come to a place to relax after a long day. We had a Disability room that was not acceptable for anyone disabled especially in a wheelchair. There was not enough room between the wall and the bed or the table and the bed. The closet had two bars for hanging clothes. If you hung clothes on the top bar your clothes overhung on the lower bar...and both bars were in a raised closet...how does that help someone in a wheelchair? Let alone the ironing board you put in the closet (just sticking it in there) took up half the closet space (and there were two of us staying in the room. The dresser was also in a raised closet. The phones didn't work (had a maintenance man come and he could not call me from another room and I could not call him in any of the three rooms tried) When I did call someone it was either a dead line or the phone would ring three times and go to messaging. The clocks don't work. To fill the tub you had to use a shower head...who thought that up? In line with the last comment who puts a table in a handicapped room that is 4 feet off the floor? Your so called breakfast was a joke. I know you would like us to eat healthy but don't force us to do so. There should be options like real bacon and eggs with yokes and pork sausage. There are many coming to this area to work and want a breakfast that is going to see them to lunch. Everyone I asked was not pleased with the meals offered. You also had a front door that kept opening and closing when no one was using it allowing cold gusts of air to come into the eating area and chill everyone. Then there is no Ice Machine! I was told there was an ice tray in the freezer...ONE ICE TRAY! This was not a pleasant stay and we moved to...
Read moreWe were very excited to book here and stay. However, the experience was terrible. We always book a suite since we like having a mini kitchen however, for the price offered for a “suite” it’s not worth it. The layout of the “suite” is terrible. But that’s not the worst part. ||We arrived from North Dakota for the holidays and arrived at almost 10 pm, in which we just wanted to check in, take a hot shower and rest after such an exhausting trip. But NOPE. We were given a suite that smelled foul. The bathroom was nowhere clean, it smelled of urine as if it wasn’t cleaned in days. The toilet was disgusting. The entire room smelled awful. |Exhausted and irritated, I had to call the front desk to complain and request another room. The lady gave us a new room, but I already knew it was going to be a disappointment. We booked for 5 nights and regretted it the first night. ||Also, it’s like they let just ANYONE stay in their rooms. On the 2nd day we got on the elevator and were suffocated with the stench of marihuana. It’s ridiculous. ||Dya 2 morning, I heard some women arguing, it was so loud, that it woke me up. I’m guessing it was around 7ish or so, not sure if it was the other guests or the housekeepers outside in the hallway. ||The last 2 nights, around 2-3 am someone was playing the tv or music so loud that I couldn’t sleep. The walls are paper thin you can hear the slightest noise.||The breakfast is bland. Nothing good but the coffee. The gym is great. It said on our slip that after the third day they would check up on us for housekeeping and nothing. We had to place our garbage outside for them to take. They did put in clean towels on the last day but no clean sheets. The pillows are awful, flat as a pancake. No comfort at all. ||We won’t be staying again. I don’t recommend this place. I hope they upgrade and consider making some changes in their rooms and try to change up...
