It's at a great location with plenty of stores and food places around, so you can eat and get your pet some food too. It does have an interesting smell when you walk in, kind of like cleaning products or after effects of being freshly cleaned. I have an extremely sensitive nose and it doesn't seem to bother me. I appreciate that it's clean. They seem very organized. They ran out of my cat's food one time and I noticed they had the label marked on the shelf to illustrate it would be replenished on the next shipment, which I thought was pretty cool. One time I went in there without using a cart (because I always think I won't end up needing it but really do) and I had cat food cans tucked under my arm. The employee noticed and was nice enough to offer a cart to me. How sweet and observant! I've made several online orders a little less than 2 hours before they closed and still managed to get emailed within an hour that items are ready for pickup. TIP: Order online and then pickup in store. Items are usually discounted online. I've purchased shampoos selling in store at $15 when the online price was less than $5, seriously, and recently a fancy toy that was $10 and got it half price. Trust me. You can also make a first purchase using the auto-ship and then cancel it later. You can get 30% discount on an expensive item this way ;). I've done this for large bags of pricey food. Also, sign up for Pals Reward because you get nice coupons and for every $100 spent you get $5 back, which is nice, and actually happens quickly when you have multiple pets that require a lot of stuff. I recently got to use a coupon for $10 off $30+ order and stocked up on essentials my pet would need later. I'd recommend waiting for when they have sales/promos/coupons to stock up on stuff.    Read moreI have been to the Palmdale location before, and Cassie has always done a wonderful job. She takes the time to listen and is very patient to do her job. She also recomends what she know will work better from previous experience. Today, was a different story. I took my two malteese, had them done with a different groomer. I was awared it was necessery to go short. He said it was too knotty. But, when Caccie has done that before she leaves hair on the tails,legs and face to give them a nice style.So, that it looks it was done by a professional. To my surprise, this gentlement did not take the time to give them a nice look, and went the easiest route shaving them completely off. It does not look like a groomer did it, I could have done that myself at home if that is what I wanted, without having to pay. I am sure groomer know what looks good on a dog and what looks awful. I commute from Rosamond because I like the service I have always received. But, unfortunately I wont be coming back anymore. If you decide to go to this location make sure Cassie does your little guys. I ended up paying $150 for the most awful haircuts my babies have had. Also, Cassie shows you her finished job before she sends you to the cashier. This gentlemen did not show me his mess until I had already paid. Smart move. I am not the kind of person that will be arguing with anybody. I think by not going back to the same place solves the problem.    Read moreCustomer service was exceptionally good! Associates were all friendly and offered prompt service. One employee stood out to me and made sure I left with a solution to my problem. Their manager Ryan offered help and made me feel welcomed in their store. Usually, Iâm a regular customer who comes in often for various things for my dogs. Ryan is usually there also, and he always greets me and asks if I need any help. I usually do, and he seems very happy to give it. Heâs very knowledgeable and efficient and makes my shopping g experience great!
Last week I had a slight issue when I stopped by and was interested in purchasing a new tank for my fish. I was set on one I saw online, but when I came in it was unfortunately sold out. Ryan quickly said heâd double check the back room and their computer to see if he could find it. He couldnât find it, but he did find a similar item that I was able to use my coupon on. He was really knowledgeable with almost all of the products. On the way out I mentioned I was interested in switching my beloved Golden Retriever over to Origin dog food. I was unsure, but Ryan explained the ingredients and the benefits and I quickly made my selection. My dog loved the food and my fish is content in his new tank! Will be returning regularly because of the awesome customer service :)...
